If you are a fan of All-Star Movies Resort, we have some good and bad news for you. The good news is that one of the amenities will be getting a refresh, but the bad news is that means it will need to suspend some operations for a bit.Â
All-Star Movies Resort is a value resort located at Walt Disney World, that is perfect if you are looking for a more inexpensive hotel option with many of the great perks that Disney World hotel guests get. It is part of a trio of All-Star Resorts which also includes All-Star Sports and All-Star Music.
Disney World is constantly refurbishing and renovating areas throughout the resort, and now All-Star Movies will be getting a little bit of love. From July 1st through July 31st, the World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be undergoing a refurbishment. While the dining area will be receiving a facelift, guests will still be able to take advantage of the food offered by the food court.Â
During this time, guests may utilize the My Disney Experience app to order food and drinks with their mobile device. The mobile order menu will only offer select items during the refurbishment, though. While the menu may be limited, we are glad that guests of All-Star Movies will still have an option to get food from the resort.Â
If you are staying at All-Star Movies during the month of July, this is definitely an important refurbishment to note. As well, we wanted to remind you that the Fantasia Pool at All-Star Movies will be undergoing routine maintenance from January 2025 through April 2025. During this time, guests can use the Duck Pond Pool at All-Star Movies, but also be aware that there may be construction noise during the day at All-Star Movies.
We are always keeping our eyes and ears open for refurbishments and closures, so you are always prepared for your Disney World trip. Make sure to stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World updates!

One of the things we love about staying at AS Music is that the three themed resorts essentially function as one. That means if a pool or food court is closed, you can easily walk to one of the other All Stars to use their facilities, one of the few exceptions to the no pool hopping rule. Those staying at Movies can easily access Music’s food court, for example, which is actually closer to some sections like the Mighty Ducks than Movies own food court. We stayed at Music when the food court was closed for refurbishment, and they set up a smaller area in what was usually the arcade. You could refill your resort mug there as well as get some really nice grab and go selections, fruit, sandwiches, pastries, even a great egg salad that my husband loved on a bagel. They also had a food truck come in from which we purchased breakfast, huge croissants filled with eggs, bacon, and cheese, along with orange juice and coffee. Perhaps they will have a similar set up this time too.
