We’ve heard some exciting news recently about the newest Disney Vacation Club property.
We’ve been following along with the construction progress at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows (yep, that’s the official name!), but Disney recently revealed even MORE details about the new Disney Vacation Club property, including new concept art of the building’s lobby (it’s SO pretty). Disney revealed even MORE important news, though; we also got an opening timeline PLUS booking dates for the new villas!
Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows has an official opening timeline of December 2024. For those who want to book a stay there, well…you’ll be able to do that soon! Yep, reservations are opening up SOON for this gorgeous new Disney World hotel building!
So, if you’re looking to book a stay at Island Tower, you’ll be able to do so on the following dates:
- DVC Members can start booking reservations on June 4th (note that DVC members will be able to make points-based reservations at a later date). Contact Member Services at (800) 800-9800 to reserve a room.
- Disney World Annual Passholders can start booking reservations on June 5th by calling (407) 934-7639.
- The general public can start booking reservations on June 6th online or by calling (407) 934-7639.
Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will offer several different room types to sleep two to nine people. You can book a duo studio, a one-bedroom villa, a two-bedroom villa, or a two-bedroom penthouse villa. Disney has also promised that many rooms will feature “spectacular views.”

Disney still hasn’t revealed what else the property will offer on-site, but we’re hoping to see at least one new restaurant (or pool bar, judging from construction photos we’ve seen) plus a new pool. We’ll be keeping an eye on construction and let you know about any future updates, too, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
