There’s a tiny town filled with chaos in Disney World, and we’re keeping it in check!
Wild things are going on!
If you’ve been hanging around here at DFB recently, then you’ve probably seen our posts about all the shenanigans going on in the tiny train village in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion. This itty bitty city has suffered everything from werewolf attacks to giant lizards to mass murders. It’s anarchy! But we simply can’t stay away…so come with us to see what happened this week.
During my most recent visit to the Germany Pavilion (I have to make frequent trips, I AM the self-proclaimed mayor, after all), it looked as though some kind of natural disaster struck the town! Several pieces of buildings were ripped off by what I can only assume was a tornado, hurricane, or mass revolt of the residents.
The top of the building is GONE!
Window shutters had been thrown from the buildings, and I spotted several villagers cowering in fear due to this latest terror haunting the town.
It’s missing a shutter!
Seriously, the townspeople are so scared that they’re cowering inside their homes. What has this little community come to?!

One building had a large section of the roof torn off the top! Thankfully, this looks to be a factory or public building and not someone’s private residence. I’ll make sure to send the rescue teams out there ASAP!

And in the process, it seems as though the tornado took out a local resident! How those other guys are just casually sitting there playing checkers, I’ll never understand. Are the people just immune to chaos and destruction now?!

Also possible victims of this latest tragedy are the best man from the wedding happening at the church…

…and a young man exploring the observation tower with his friends. Looks like I’ve got to go have a meeting with the town’s sheriff and the local hospital, you guys.
Destruction everywhere
There must be some kind of plot of villainy afoot in my village, and I’ll get to the bottom of it! This week’s catastrophes might be the result of a natural disaster, but we can’t yet rule out a possible local crime ring. Be on the lookout for any updates, and keep us in the loop!
* The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.

I don’t know if this is a joke. Is there really a Disney employee making these scene changes? I used to visit this village when in Epcot. Haven’t been in a while, but, in the past, it was nothing like this!
But wait!!! Is the scary werewolf still running amok as well?!? Or was he blow away by the tornado?!?

Hi Denise! Our reporter said she didn’t see him on her last visit, but that doesn’t mean he’s not lurking around somewhere just biding his time until the next attack! Hopefully there’s no full moon anytime soon!
