Disney’s Animal Kingdom has already seen its fair share of changes recently with retiring the flotillas, and a new park map.
But when we noticed a new menu item at a signature Disney World restaurant had just debuted, we HAD to run out and see if it was as good as Disney World claimed it was!
We’re all about good eats when visiting Disney World’s parks, so when we saw Tiffins had a new signature entree added to the menu, we couldn’t get over there fast enough.
So, off we went to grab a reservation at Tiffins to try out their latest creation!
Tiffin’s Signature Burger is made of an in-house burger blend, aged cheddar, demi-glace, and Parker House roll served with seasoned waffle fries and costs $28. Seems like a pretty steep price for a burger and fries, right? So we decided to put it to the ultimate taste test!
When the burger arrived you could see the aged cheddar folded around the edges of the burger and the juices were flowing outward. Clearly, this was a burger begging to be tasted.
It was served with seasoned fries…
… and dipping sauce…
… and we got to work cutting this thing open!
The chef recommended a medium rare temperature for the burger (which is what we ordered) and we couldn’t believe our tastebuds when we first tried it!
This burger is truly a shining star! The aged cheddar comes through first of all the flavors, followed by the in-house burger blend of spices that makes up the meat. We got a hint of the charred grilling to the burger, but it wasn’t overpowering or distracting from the rest of how the burger tastes. We do have to admit that it was a little on the saltier side. The Parker House Roll bun was the perfect choice for this one because it gives just enough sweetness to balance the savory taste of the meat.
The seasoned fries complimented the burger well and had a great seasoned and salty flavor to them, but when they were dipped in the sauce…
… the combination gave it an even more enhanced flavor!
If you find yourself looking for a filling meal the next time you’re planning a visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we consider this a meal that you shouldn’t pass up!
