Move over Willy Wonka — Universal Orlando is bringing the sweets AND scares to Halloween Horror Nights this year!
Universal Orlando Resort has provided plenty of terrors during the Halloween season since 1991 and it looks like this year will be no exception. Unlike Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights are genuinely terrifying, featuring several haunted houses, scare zones, and entertainment, all catered towards a more mature audience. If this sounds like your kind of Halloween event, you’ll be excited to learn that Universal released details about a brand-new haunted house!
In its latest Halloween Horror Nights announcement, Universal revealed that an original candy-themed haunted house will be joining this year’s roster!
Titled Major Sweets Candy Factory, this house serves as a prequel to a previous scare zone two years ago with the same theme.
In an official teaser, Universal wrote, “You’ve been invited to chaperone a field trip to a candy factory. The deadly delicious treats turn the kids into sugar-fueled fiends.”
