With so many Disney World hotels to choose from, it can be pretty overwhelming to decide where to stay.
We’re always about trying to help you save a buck, so if you’re looking for a blend of those deluxe resort vibes with a moderate price tag, then look no further than the Swan & Dolphin Resorts! Let’s talk about it!
Here’s why the Swan and Dolphin really should be on your Disney World hotel radar:
You know how expensive the deluxe Disney World hotels can be. If you want to have that deluxe hotel experience, good news. You can stay at the Swan and Dolphin for typically about half the price of a deluxe Disney World hotel.
Also, one of the best parts is that when you stay at the Swan and Dolphin is that you’ll qualify for the same perks that those staying at Disney-owned deluxe hotels get like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours. You’ll also get free theme park parking, just like you would if you were staying at the Polynesian Village Resort.
Another perk about staying at the Swan and Dolphin is that it has a stellar location. This hotel is located in the EPCOT area and it’s close enough to walk to EPCOT and the EPCOT Skyliner station. (You can’t beat that for convenience.)
The hotel is also within walking distance of Disney’s Boardwalk, Disney’s Beach Club, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resorts. That means you’ll have access to all the great dining at those resorts, including Beaches & Cream, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Boardwalk Deli, and many more restaurants.
Now, for the cherry on top, if you didn’t know, the Swan and Dolphin Resorts are both operated by Marriott Hotels, which means that Marriott Bonvoy members can use the points they’ve earned for stays at the resorts! (A stay at the Swan or Dolphin can be anywhere between 40,000 points to about 70,000 depending on the season.)
If you’re a Bonvoy Member you’re already racking up points, so you might as well redeem them for a stay at Disney World, right? Also, there are all kinds of program benefits for members like getting an extra night thrown in when booking an award stay (you can’t beat free!).
While we’re on this topic, let’s talk about some other discounts that might apply to you too! If you’re a Disney Annual Passholder, there’s a current discount of up to 30% you can’t miss out on. Here are the offer details over at the website:
For Reservations: Call 1-888-828-8850 and ask for promotional code ANNUAL PASSHOLDER RATE or when booking online, make sure Promotional Code QWH appears in the Corporate/Promo code box. (A valid/current Disney Annual Pass is required at check-in to receive this offer.)
Here are some additional savings opportunities you may be able to use at the Swan & Dolphin Resorts:
- AAA/CAA Members can save up to 25% the best available rate at the time of booking
- Receive up to 20% off when booking a pre-paid, non-refundable room in 2024

Overall, this is a resort that you’ve got to add to your radar and if you’re a Bonvoy member, well, you can save money on your next stay too!

TonyD says
I didn’t stay at the Swan or Dolphin and stayed at Disney hotels because of the Magical Express. I chose not to stay at the Swan and Dolphin since I could be on vacation the minute I checked by bags at my home airport until I arrived home and picked up my bags. My bags and transportation were all taken care of. Without ME am free to explore other options such as the Swan and Dolphin or Disney Springs Hotels where I can visit other Orlando attractions, since I will need to provide my own transportation.
