When you visit Disney World every single day — like, EVERY day — you start to see some patterns. Little ones start getting cranky around 3PM. Crowds form as soon as a Disney character appears. Fashion trends come and go. Disney may be full of people from all over the world, but really, most people do pretty much the same things in the parks.
Speaking of fashion trends, we often look to Gen Z (loosely defined as those born between 1997 and 2012) to see what’s in style. Are the ’90s out? What’s going on with the hem of our jeans lately? Is anyone wearing headbands right now? Gen Z seems to have their finger on the pulse when it comes to what’s in style — especially in Disney World! So, want to see what we’ve seen a LOT of people wearing in Disney World lately?
This new dress seems to be a Gen Z favorite. It’s called the Free People Movement One Two Punch Set, and we’ve spotted tons of people wearing it (and similar versions) in Disney World.

This set is made with a breathable, lightweight fabric that is great for the Florida heat. It’s got soft shorts that come separate, so you can wear both pieces together or separately! We love to mix and match — it helps us get even more use out of our clothing — especially on vacation.
You can check this out on Free People — but be warned — it tends to sell out quickly and it’s quite pricey! The set comes in TONS of colors and patterns, and reviewers seem to agree that it runs mostly true to size. As you can see from the photos, it’s certainly not a form-fitting dress, so you’ve got plenty of room to move and groove through Disney World. Gen Z might be onto something here.
You can get this similar dress on Amazon, too!
Good news! We found a similar look for much CHEAPER on Amazon! The shorts in this set are also detached, making it a lot easier to change in and out of this set. Plus, it’s always nice to have a spare pair of sporty athletic shorts, right?
There are TONS of colors on Amazon, though the most popular option in Disney World seems to be plain black. Hey — it matches ANY pair of Minnie ears!
Pair this dress with athletic sneakers, a pair of Teva sandals, or any other comfy theme park shoes — the possibilities are endless! We love wearing light, breezy dresses in Disney World. When you’re standing in the middle of the EPCOT World Showcase under the hot, hot sun, the last thing you want is a pesky pair of denim shorts or a thick polyester shirt. Trust us.
In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney deals, so stay tuned for more.

Is the baggyness in the front in case the bra portion doesn’t hold the girls in tight enough?
Potential sunburns in areas not normally exposed.
But then again, I’m sure my parents and grandparents thought my clothing choices were odd last century too….

The black one looks like a trash bag. Just came back from there and didn’t see even one of these, thank goodness

I know everything’s subjective, but I think that’s one of the ugliest dresses I’ve ever seen. It looks like wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.
Tracy says
You have got to be kidding me.
Colleen says
I’m Gen X so maybe I’m too old to appreciate this dress but wow, that is just awful.

$128 on Free the People site or $17.99 from Amazon. For $17.99 who cares if you like it or not. Should be more form fitting so I got size XS and it works.
