A BRAND NEW nighttime show just debuted at Disney World!
Earlier this year, Disney announced that a new nighttime drone show would be coming to Disney Springs this summer. The new show, Disney Dreams That Soar premiered on May 24th, and will run until September 2nd.
Disney Dreams that Soar showcases Disney stories that celebrate “the joy of flight with state-of-the-art drones choreographed to create designs in the sky” all paired with a “soaring” musical score interspersed with movie quotes” and after seeing the show, it definitely lived up to that billing! Y’all this is a seriously cool show.

We found our place for the show and got ready for things to start! It was a bit busy, but that’s to be expected on the first night.

Disney Dreams that Soar uses drones to offer late-night Disney Springs guests a brand-new show set to a stirring score of Disney songs. There’s also an original song that was written just for the show! The show starts with all the drones making their way over the water.

We also caught Peter Pan…
…and the Up house!
There are so many incredible scenes and characters represented in this new nighttime spectacular. Want to catch the show? It plays nightly at 9PM and 10:45PM from now until September 2nd, however, like most nighttime Disney shows, it could be canceled if there is inclement weather.

The viewing area for it is on the West Side of Disney Springs along the water between the Aerophile balloon and the Cirque du Soliel Theatre. But, we also heard a pro tip that the rooftop bar at the Coca-Cola store is another great spot to catch the show! These areas are first-come, first-served, so keep that in mind for planning.
We’ve got SHADOWS made out of the drones! That’s amazing! 🕺🪩#DisneyDreamsThatSoar #DisneySprings #MediaEvent @DisneyParks @DisneySprings pic.twitter.com/n76d5TSvvM

Note that we’re hearing that there were some issues with crowd control at the first showing tonight. As the show continues, demand should slow down a bit. But if you can avoid the first week or so — or stick to the second showing on the night you choose to experience the show — you will probably have less of an issue with crowds.
