We’re “Almost There” (nope, we’ll never stop referencing that song). Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom will soon be having early previews for select Disney World visitors and then open to the public on June 28th.
Ahead of that opening, we’re getting to see even more sneak peeks of the ride (Disney just keeps teasing us), and we recently learned that beignets will be available again in Magic Kingdom to celebrate the ride’s opening (ALL the beignets, y’all). We’ve even seen a sneak peek at some new merchandise. But right now, you can pick up ANOTHER Tiana’s Bayou Adventure-themed treat at Disney World. Yes, RIGHT NOW.
Joffrey’s has announced that a brand new coffee blend, Tiana Bayou Beignet, is now available FOR PURCHASE in Disney Springs at the Joffrey’s location at The Landing. Yep, you can officially buy the FIRST Tiana’s Bayou Adventure treat just by visiting Disney Springs.
The description of the new coffee calls it “a decadent delight with flavor notes of honey and powdered sugar.” That sounds DELICIOUS, right? Coffee and beignets have always gone together, so it totally makes sense in a new coffee flavor. It’s a medium roast, so it should hit that perfect balance between light and dark roast.
If you can’t get to Disney World to pick this new coffee blend up, though, you can order it online, too, from Joffrey’s website. So be sure to try it out!
In the meantime, we’re just counting down the days until we can ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Disney has shared details about the story, mentioning that the ride picks up after the events of The Princess and the Frog. Tiana is a successful businesswoman and is throwing a party for the city of New Orleans, but she needs a special ingredient. You’ll have to float through the bayou and help Tiana find that ingredient so her party is a success.
And, you’ll come across a variety of characters and critters in the bayou, as well as Mama Odie, who will tell you to “Dig A Little Deeper” — maybe right before you take the ride’s big wet plunge! The ride will feature brand-new state-of-the-art animatronics, some great music, and a lot of fun. We can’t wait to take this adventure through the Louisiana Bayou ourselves!
Remember, you can also pick up other Disney-specific Joffrey’s coffee blends in Disney Springs, too, as well as online. That even includes blends specific to Disney World hotels. Pro tip: Joffrey’s tends to have shorter lines than Starbucks, so if you want a coffee fix and don’t want to wait in line, go to one of Joffrey’s locations (located throughout the parks and Disney Springs).
