Ever wanted to visit Disney World and Disneyland on the same day?
For many Disney fans, visiting the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts on the same day, or at least very closely together, is a bucket list item. Given the 3,000+ MILES between Orlando, Florida and Anaheim, California, it’s not exactly a realistic goal for many. However, thanks to Breeze Airways, it’s just gotten slightly easier…
Breeze Airways has announced the return of their popular seasonal “Disney to Disney” flights. The nonstop flights, which run from Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida’s Orange County to John Wayne Airport in California’s Orange County, will start at an almost UNBELIEVABLE $89. The route will run from MCO on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays through the summer.
In just under four years, Breeze has become one of the more popular low cost carriers in the U.S. According to the company, since its 2021 launch, Breeze has “flown more than five million Guests and now operates more than 170 nonstop routes between 56 cities in 29 states. As it enters its fourth year of flying, the airline is on track to achieve its first full quarter of profitability in Q2 2024, while continuing to expand both its footprint and its fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft.”
This summer would mark a particularly smart time for you visit both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, as each resort has a ton going on. On the east coast, the Magic Kingdom will see the highly-anticipated opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, while EPCOT will finally see the last element of its years-long re-imagining open to the public when CommuniCore Hall opens in June. In addition, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts on August 9th and the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival launches August 29th.
Meanwhile, on the west coast the Disneyland Resort will see the long awaited return of Fantasmic!. In addition, Pixar Fest – – which features the new daytime parade, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!, and “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular – – runs through August 4th. Finally, both the Halloween Time and Plaza de La Familia (a Coco-themed celebration of Día de los Muertos) will return on August 23rd.

Be aware, a low-budget airlines means low-budget service. I have read a lot of negative reviews for Breeze. I tried to look into a flight from L.A./Orange County to Orlando for Dec 2024. The website stated “no flights”. Not unavailable, not booked up, just no flights. I tried calling but of course, no one answered. I emailed, but still haven’t received an answer. Sometimes you have to decide, is it really worth to save some money and deal with bad service, or just pay for better service and reliability?

I’ve flown the Breeze “Disney to Disney” flight before, and it’s GREAT! My only disappointment is that it isn’t a year round!
On the topic of doing both in a Day, we recently opened Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, flew across the country, and made it to Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar before last call! It was a fantastic Adventure!!
