Who’s ready for some shenanigans!
I’m taking you back to the tiny train town in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT for another update! If you’ve been following along for the past few months, you know that this miniature village is filled to the brim with crime and teeming with hooligans. So let’s see what those little monsters were getting up to this week!
First of all, we’ve got to give an update on the town’s WEREWOLF problem! The big hairy beast is still stalking townsperson Dave at his abode up on the hill, near the woods. Thankfully, Dave has been putting up a good fight to keep the werewolf distracted, and it hasn’t ventured further into the village. You’re a hero, Dave!
This week, the mayor’s office got some reports of vandalism as well! After I made sure to get the lighthouse observation deck railing fixed, some ruffians ran up there in the middle of the night and broke it again! I’m going to have to ban Little Suzie and her teddy bear until the situation is fixed and once again safe. (It’s a shame, she loves visiting up there!)
Also, during my last visit a heat wave was rolling through and villagers were passing out left and right! Clearly, these guys don’t listen to the advice we preach here at DFB — stay HYDRATED during the summer. (That’s a warning for the teeny tiny people and the big ones!)
As mayor of this town, it looks like I’m going to have to put some ordinances in place to deal with the safekeeping of livestock! This week, I spotted three rogue cows roaming outside the home of two young girls. The girls were cowering in fear and looked to be locked outside of their house! We sent in a rescue squad to round up the cows and save the little girls, but we had to be careful — the village’s infamous giant lizard was lurking nearby.
Do we need to get some kind of organized zoo? Or a wildlife preserve? These animals are running WILD!
But in positive news, our quaint village got a very famous visitor this week! THE Mickey Mouse stopped by to say hello — all dressed in his train engineer best. We’re honored to have such an esteemed celebrity visiting our humble abode!
That’s a wrap on the updates from our itty bitty city this week! We’ll keep you in the loop with any more shenanigans, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest.
* The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.

Oh no!!! Unfortunately, this will NOT be the last werewolf sighting – the NEXT full moon is on June 21st!!! BEWARE, GOOD TOWNSPEOPLE! And Dave, make sure to lock up those poor cows (and Susie’s teddy bear) before then!
