While we know it can be disappointing that EPCOT currently has no festival, something new just opened up!

We have been so excited to see EPCOT change and transform over the last few years. Soon, when CommuniCore Hall and Plaza open on June 10th, EPCOT’s transformation will be complete. Annual Passholders have gotten to enjoy a new and exclusive lounge in Morocco for about the past month, and don’t worry if you have not had a chance to visit, you still have until June 18th! And now there is a new addition to the American Adventure Pavilion!
To find this new addition you are going to want to head inside the American Adventure where you would wait to see the show, the American Adventure, or where you hear the Voices of Liberty perform.
American Adventure Pavilion
From time to time, Disney uses this space to feature different exhibits, and a new one just opened up! It is called Portraits of Courage, and former President George W. Bush loaned this collection to Disney. The full title of this exhibit is Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors.

The exhibit was set to open on June 9th, but ended up opening a few days early! As you walk around and admire the gallery, you will see portraits of veterans. Each portrait has a a biography written by the former president himself.

Along with the portraits, this exhibit also showcases letters written to former President George W. Bush to thank him for his support of the military and its community.

As of right now, the exhibit is set to be on display at Disney World for one year, although no exact end date has been announced.

Just when we thought EPCOT’s transformation would be complete with CommuniCore Hall and Plaza opening next week on June 10th, Disney recently announced that Test Track would be getting a makeover. After visiting the Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors, remember to stop by Test Track before it closes for its reimagining on June 17th!

If you are looking for more entertainment to keep you satisfied while you wait for the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival to start, you can see the first stage show coming to the CommuniCore Plaza Stage from June 10th to Septemeber 16th. This show is called ¡Celebración Encanto! . This show will feature your favorite Madrigals singing your favorite songs from the movie!

One can only pray that the re-imagining of Test Track will be as groundbreaking and out of the box as the original Test Track/Factory was when it debuted. The last 2 efforts produced a dark roller coaster ride with no back story the attraction for the guest. Let’s hope
