We talk a lot about new attractions and the most popular rides with the longest wait times in Disney World.
And that means right now, everyone’s attention is on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is set to open on June 28th. The ride is already in previews in the Magic Kingdom, and Disney has released a POV video and a new song from the attraction. It’s all very exciting! But there’s another UPDATED ride in Disney World and sooooooooo many of you are skipping it! So today, we’re here to ask you to give this ol’ ride in Hollywood Studios some love! (We promise you won’t have to wait long to ride, either!)
Y’all. Star Tours has BABY YODA NOW. You CAN’T miss Baby Yoda! (Shh. I know his name is Grogu. But he’s always Baby Yoda in my heart.)
Star Tours: The Adventure Continues in Hollywood Studios keeps things FRESH with its alternating randomized experiences featuring different locations and characters from the Star Wars galaxy each time you ride.
Every so often, Disney updates this ride to feature new scenes and lore from the ever-changing and expanding Star Wars universe. And, on April 5th this year, they did the same thing AGAIN.
Now you can potentially experience NEW show scenes based on the latest Disney+ Star Wars shows like Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian — meaning you have the chance to see fan-favorite characters including Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin, and the ADORABLE Baby Yoda himself, Grogu.
The new scenes have been added into the same randomized sequences that the ride already featured, upping the number of possible combinations to well over 250, and ensuring that no two experiences on Star Tours are ever gonna be the same. And that’s pretty exciting in our book, but this ride still isn’t drawing the crowds. It’s often a walk-on, even on busy days in Hollywood Studios!
So we just wanted to remind you that it’s there, it’s fun, and it shouldn’t be forgotten!
If you’re planning a Hollywood Studios trip, we’ve got everything you need to know about the park in this video you can watch right here!

That ride causes bad motion sickness, that’s why everyone skips it.

I ride Star Tours every time I’m in Hollywood Studios. I love it! When I’m there with my daughter, I ride it alone because she has motion sickness and can’t do that type of ride. My sister and I have gotten off the ride and immediately got back on, we love it that much. It’s really a fun attraction!
DJ Moves says
It was the best ride when I was a kid, then they made it 3D and I just can’t. It also feels, well, random, instead of cohesive.

My DH’s favorite in HS, so we make sure to hit it every time we are in the park. In May we got the Ashoka update, so looking forward to seeing what we get next time we are back!

We LOVE this ride and hope it never goes away! C3PO and R2D2 remind us of the humble Star Wars beginnings and old friends. The ride itself is so much fun, even if you get the same experience one or twice – every group is different and everyone in the room (uh, sorry, spacecraft!) shares lots of laughs, screams and whooaaas!
Vicki says
I ride every time I can. My husband gets motion sickness very easily, but he enjoys this one. He closes is eyes if he starts to feel dizzy.
Dan says
We did it this trip, and saw Darth Vader and Ashoka! It was very fun. I wanted to ride it some more but we didn’t spend much time in Hollywood this time. I did get a chance to see the Indy stunt show which I probably hadn’t seen in 25 years or so. Still very fun!
Lois Pierce says
I can’t quite understand why everyone gets motion sickness on Star Tours. I get airsick and seasick (but interestingly enough, not carsick), but Star Tours has never bothered me. At Disneyland my friends and I went on it 3 times in quick succession. It’s one of my favorite rides. Now Mission:Space I can’t go near!
Travis says
If you start feeling sick on this ride, close one eye while riding it with the 3 D glasses. You still get the visual without the 3 D effect and minimal motion sickness. Trust me on this one; I’m an optometrist.
Disney Girl says
It’s too rough! That’s why we skip it. If they toned it down, more people would gladly right because there aren’t enough rides at the Studios as it is.

I LOVE IT!!!!

I love this ride, but my hubby got motion sick for the first time two trips ago. Haven’t ridden it since. But will talk him into taking Travis’ advice and give it another try! Thanks, Travis! He also gets motion sickness on Guardians now. Boohoo! Any tips for that one?

It was the first ride we did on our first ever Disney trip from the UK back in 1999. As massive Star Wars fans we love it. We’re coming back next May, I hope it’s still running!!
