Okay, who’s getting excited about Epic Universe?
The more details we get, the more, well, EPIC Universal Orlando’s upcoming third park sounds, right? We’ve been getting a ton of details about some of the lands that the park will feature, including Isle of Berk — How To Train Your Dragon, Super Nintendo World, and Celestial Park. We’re still waiting for more details about the two other lands, Dark Universe, and a new Harry Potter-themed land. In the meantime, though, we’re visiting Universal’s NEW Epic Universe Preview Center, which means we’re about to learn even MORE about this new park!
Earlier this year, Universal revealed that it would close its Universal Legacy Store in Universal’s City Walk to use that building to create a brand new preview center showing off Epic Universe. Well, we got a chance to check out the Epic Universe Preview Center, so let’s go inside!
You’ll find the new preview center on the side of CityWalk closest to the Islands of Adventure entrance between the BigFire, CowFish, and Vivo restaurants on the ground floor. The preview center is an interactive experience that will give visitors a chance to get a better look at Epic Universe ahead of its opening in 2025. Inside, you’ll find a massive model of Epic Universe, showcasing each of its five lands.
We’re seeing just how big the scope of this new theme park is. WOW. Look at this part of the model showcasing Celestial Park and the Universal Grand Helios Hotel, which will be a hotel INSIDE the park.
Here you can see a few different lands and how the park will be laid out. Super Nintendo World is there on the right.
You can even get a good look at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic.
We’re super excited about Dark Universe — here it is in the model.
Here’s a good look at How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk. Plus in the background, you can see just how big the Stardust Racers roller coaster is going to be in Celestial Park. WOW.
The Epic Universe Preview Center also has some fun backgrounds and photo ops. For example, you can get a photo op in front of the How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk portal.
There are other portal photo ops available, too, including one for Dark Universe…
…Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic…
…and Super Nintendo World!
What’s really exciting is that the preview center also has a TON of Epic Universe merchandise, including general Epic Universe merchandise…
…as well as merchandise for each portal, including Celestial Park…
…Super Nintendo World…
…Dark Universe…
…The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic…
…and How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk.
This makes us even more excited about the opening of Epic Universe in 2025. If you get a chance to stop into the preview center, be sure to check it out! We’ll keep an eye out for more details, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Please give a round of applause to the team that built that massive model of the park, they really could have cut corners on that and made it AR or just put it on TV screens. It’s a work of art
