We’re DEFINITELY talking about this new Disney World show.
Earlier this year, Disney announced that a new Encanto show would be coming to EPCOT this summer. At the time, the company announced that “¡Celebración Encanto!” would run on the new CommuniCore Plaza stage as part of the grand opening of the newly reimagined portion of EPCOT now known as World Celebration. The show opens June 10th, but we got a chance to see a preview!
This new family-friendly interactive show is very similar to the Frozen Sing-Along found in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is a wildly popular attraction.
The show begins with two hosts introducing themselves, and they’re soon joined by four dancers. Between the songs, the hosts ask the audience some trivia questions and teaches them some Spanish words, but the audience participation doesn’t stop there!
Right after the song “Family Madrigal,” the dancers choose a few volunteers from the audience to hold props and become the people who have been sung about in the song!
Then, during Isabella’s solo song “What Else Can I Do?” the dancers bring up a group of volunteers from the audience and teach them a fun line dance routine.
And lastly, during “Pressure,” multiple kids are brought up to the stage to stand on a platform and show off their strength by making various poses — it was very cute!
Finally, Mirabel and Bruno make their appearance during “Mi Encanto” and then head into the audience to start a massive dance party. While the show itself takes about 20 minutes, the dance party runs an additional 10 minutes.
¡Celebración Encanto!” is scheduled to run several times throughout the day on the CommuniCore Plaza stage from June 10th through September 6th. Stay tuned to DFB for more updates on the reimagined EPCOT.

This looks like a fun show and I’m sorry I won’t get to see it.
