We’re inching closer to the opening of a brand-new ride in Disney World!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open on June 28th, 2024, and we are pumped! We’ve already had the chance to ride thanks to some Cast Member and media previews, but if you’re an Annual Passholder, you’ll get the opportunity to hop on the ride a little early as well. Annual Passholder previews kick off this week, and Disney is getting prepped!
If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, you’ll have the opportunity to preview Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on June 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 20th. Annual Passholders will need to make a park reservation at Magic Kingdom on one of the preview dates to have the opportunity to join the 7AM virtual queue — or, make a park reservation at any of the parks to have the opportunity to join the 1PM virtual queue.
And as of Tuesday, June 11th, the virtual queue is now loaded in the My Disney Experience app! To access, you’ll need to click “Join Virtual Queue” on the app’s homepage and then go to the Magic Kingdom section. The Tiana virtual queue is located just below the TRON one. When it’s time to join the queue, a blue button will pop up on this screen.
Unfortunately, it’s important to note that Disney Park Passes for Magic Kingdom are completely full for Annual Passholders on the preview dates. If you’d like to try and join the 7AM virtual queue on one of those days, you’ll need to keep checking back between now and then to see if availability changes. Disney Park Passes are also full for Annual Passholders on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’s opening date.
However, hope is not lost for attending a preview! If you make a Park Pass reservation for a different park (which are all still completely available during the preview dates) you can try to join the queue in the afternoon at 1PM. Keep in mind that both queues are subject to availability, and it may be difficult to snag a spot.
It’s also important to note that we’ve seen this ride have some technical difficulties during its preview phases so far. It went down multiple times during Cast Member previews and then had some closure time during the media event as well. It’s possible that there could be some delays during Annual Passholder previews, so be flexible and PLEASE be kind to the Cast Members who work the attraction.
We’ll make sure to keep you updated if anything important happens during the Annual Passholder previews, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest. We’ve got you covered with all the Disney World news!

For those that have park passes other than the Magic Kingdom and want to take advantage of the 1 PM opportunity, do you have to be in the Magic Kingdom to access it? Thanks!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Frank! Yes, you will need to be inside Magic Kingdom to join the 1pm queue.
