There are many perks to grabbing a Disney gift card before your vacation.
You can buy them to use on almost anything on Disney property, including food, snacks, merchandise, and more! Not only is it a great way for adults to budget how many snacks they’re buying or their souvenirs, but you can also load a certain amount and give it to your kids for their vacation budget! It’s a great way to give them some independence while also making sure you’re not breaking the bank. But did you know there’s a way you can SAVE on your Disney gift cards?
Target has a rewards program called Target Circle and you can also get a Target Red Card. These come in Credit, Debit, or Reloadable card options depending on what works best for your financial situation. While there are many perks that come with the cards, such as free 2-day shipping on hundreds of thousands of items and exclusive Target deals, you’ll also save 5% on every single Target purchase with your card, no matter which one you have.
This means that when you purchase a Target Gift Card with your Target Red Card, you can save 5% on that purchase too! So what does this look like when you’re buying a $500 gift card? Let’s take a look, shall we?
A $500 Gift Card
If you purchase a $500 Disney Gift Card from Target with your Target Circle Card, you’ll really be paying $475, which is a $25 savings that can go towards whatever you’d like! It may not seem like a lot, but hey, anything helps.
A $200 Gift Card
If a $500 gift card is too much, you can also save on a $200 Gift Card! If you use your Target Circle Card, you’ll only be paying $190, saving you $10.
A $100 Gift Card
$100 Disney Gift Cards are also available, which means you’ll really only be paying $95. That extra $5 could be used towards a Disney snack your gift card DOESN’T cover (because if you’re like us, it’ll run out right as you want that ONE last one).
A $50 Gift Card
Not to worry friends on more of a budget, the $50 Disney Gift Card also provides some savings! You’ll be paying $47.50 for this gift card.
A $25 Gift Card
And lastly, we have the $25 Disney Gift Card. These are especially wonderful if someone is heading to Disney for their birthday or a celebration and you want to contribute to their funds. You’ll only pay $23.75!

Ok, sorry, stupid question coming at ya! When you bought the gift card via email, did it come to your email in a decent amount of time? TIA
DFB Gigi says
Hi Melanie! Yes, the gift card comes pretty quick. I’d give it about two hours just to be on the safe side, but mine have usually arrived within minutes.

BJS has the same discount for members.

Mine arrive in minutes as well. I use the online ones to pay for my Disney tickets, and also get hard ones to use at the festival booths in Epcot. I would guess I save over $100 a trip. If we stayed on property, I would use them for my hotel stay as well. But I save hundreds by staying outside of the bubble.
