Can you believe it? It’s almost time for Inside Out 2 to premiere!
‘Inside Out 2’ debuts June 14th, and we can’t wait to fill up our popcorn buckets and kick up our feet as we make sure our kids all have the emotional vocabulary none of us had when we were their age LOL.
Now, this might sound like we’re impatient, but even though it hasn’t come out in the theaters just yet, we are thinking about when we’ll get to watch it again on Disney+ in the comfort of our homes and fuzzy slippers. Well, on that note, we think we’ve got a hint as to when it’ll drop onto the service!
So what’s this big hint? When will Inside Out 2 be heading to Disney+? Well, thank you for asking! It’s time to put on our sleuthing hats. Let’s figure it all out together!
Let’s start by saying that we are purely into speculation land now as nothing has been confirmed by Disney as of yet. We’re just doing some friendly research together with you. So, on to the hint. First off, Disney’s last theatrical release, Wish, came out in theaters on November 22nd, 2023. Then, 133 days later on April 3rd, 2024 it finally made its debut on Disney+.
With that tidbit of information, let’s do the math to find out when we could (in theory) expect to see Inside Out 2 on Disney+. So, the movie premieres on June 14th, 2024, then we add 133 days to that (carry the 2) and we get October 25th, 2024 as our potential Disney+ release date! (We did it!)
That, combined with the fact that Inside Out 2 director Pete Docter told Time that the movie would have a 100-day theatrical window, makes us pretty confident the movie will hit Disney+ later this fall. We’re crossing our fingers!
Again, this isn’t confirmed by Disney. It’s just our best guess on when we’ll be able to watch it based on previous releases. In the meantime, if you want to get yourself ready for the movie, check out the final trailer below!
