Train Village in EPCOT
If you’ve followed us for a while, you’ve probably seen our updates from the train village in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT — that place is absolutely rife with crime. We’ve caught its residents red-handed many times, from murders to robberies to smuggling rings. What’s going on in the rowdy village this week? Let’s take a look!
As the self-proclaimed mayor of tiny train town, I try to make sure I visit at least once a week to see what’s going on and what shenanigans are happening. And this week? We had a pretty major bit of chaos!
Oh no!
Yep, we had an entire train get derailed this week — what a catastrophe! I’ll be speaking with the town’s engineers to see what we can do to prevent this in the future. But for now, nobody was harmed and the trains are all back to normal operating schedules.

We’ve also been keeping a close eye on one of our citizens, who seems to have kidnapped some ducks from their natural habitat. They’re currently being held hostage in a small kiddie pool in front of his house! We’re waiting on more information about the suspect, but we’ll be sending someone from the local wildlife federation out there shortly to rescue those birds.

But that’s not all the thieving being done in this town! It seems as though another family has been stealing outdoor furniture from the downtown area. We spotted a lost park bench as well as a missing planter in front of this blue cottage. Do these people not have better ways to spend their time?!

And last but not least, we’ve got a submission from one of our followers! DFB reader @morgangaskin_ on Instagram sent us this photo of another giant lizard attack in the town. This poor man had his arm ripped CLEAN off! That’s going to be a lot of paperwork for me.

* The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.

I think the Giant Lizard is protecting that innocent resident from some town-wide shenanigans and some local hooligans stole his arm!
I can’t believe that the man is still upright, and where is the blood? As mayor of tiny train town you need to investigate. The miniature train town is one of our favorite spots to visit at EPCOT. We even have a room in our house that is entirely filled with a miniature train village. My husband even has a gallows with people on park benches enjoying the spectacle. He loves your updates.
Perhaps install a Deputy Mayor for routine daily checks. 😀
