All the Dis things…
Celebrity sightings at Walt Disney World are nothing new, as everyone from heads to state to famous athletes to the world’s biggest musical stars have been making pilgrimages to the company’s theme parks since Walt’s day. Recently one of the biggest rock stars in the world paid a visit to the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”
Mark Hoppus, the bassist and co-lead vocalist of mega pop punk band Blink-182 recently paid a visit to Walt Disney World, and documented his trip on social media.
Hoppus shared several snaps form around the park, including a picture in front of Cinderella Castle, as well as a shot with a DOLE Whip and atmospheric photos of Tron, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion.
Hoppus captioned the photo set with, “Always the best day at #waltdisneyworld! Rode TRON and Guardians for the first time and they rule, and we can never skip Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion and Pirates. OH and the pineapple Dole Whip mixed with coconut whip is like a Disney Colada. 🎢 Now to production rehearsals! Tour starts in two days!!”
The tour Hoppus was referring to is Blink-182’s massive One More Time tour, which runs through the summer in the U.S. and sees the band playing 30 shows across North American stadiums and arenas in promotion of their 2023 album One More Time…
The tour launched at Orlando’s Kia Center on June 20th, just one day after Hoppus shared his Disney World photo collection.
Hoppus isn’t the only Blink-182 member to have an expressed love for Disney parks. Drummer Travis Barker and his wife Kourtney Kardashian have been photographed many times at both Disney World — including spending Father’s Day 2024 there, presumably because Barker was in town for the same rehearsals as Hoppus — and Disneyland. The couple even had a Disneyland-themed baby shower in 2023 that featured food, signage, decoration, a cake, and even Dapper Dans.
Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus spent a day at Walt Disney World just before his mega-successful band kicked off their latest sold out world tour. We’d bet he wasn’t feeling DOWN about living his best Jack and Sally life. Stay tuned to DFB for more coverage of celebs visiting the Disney parks.

He must have been sweating in the pants. Hot feet from the sneakers. Celebrities usually don’t dress for the weather.

We saw the whole Blink 182 band and Kourtney Kardashian sneek into ride Tron on Sunday night. It was cool to see how Disney helped them have a private moment at the park. They snuck in the back entrance by Space Mountain, rode the ride a few times at closing and then left right back out.
