Summer is in full swing in Disney World, and so is the heat, humidity, and rain!
But that hasn’t stopped us from hunting down new food, like a S’mores Shake that annoyed us because marshmallows kept getting stuck in our straw (still delicious, though). We also checked out some new food in EPCOT. We even mourned the loss of a beloved snack (why do you do this to us, Disney?!?!?!). While all that was going on, we kept an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, and, well, we’ve got more menu changes to tell you about this week.
Let’s take a look at all those changes.

We had both of the new Gaston’s items this past week and they were delicious. We had to go back and get two more ham and cheese tarts, everyone was fighting over them. With a drink the count as a quick service meal on the meal plan. The crème brûlée croissant is served chilled. The vanilla custard is not overwhelming but they could put a little less in it to make it easier to eat.
However the cinnamon roll we had last week was not anywhere NEAR as good as the one we had at Christmas last year. This time it was dry, hardly any icing, tasted like it was straight from Kroger. At Christmas it was soft flavorful and just amazing.

Looks like alcoholic’s will have to take out a second mortgage. Veggie burger at Connections probably came off the menu due to low sales. With the price hikes you see in this article, I imagine families with picky children will be bringing food into the parks. We are already strategizing the drinks expense. Filling up with Corkcicles whenever we can at free water locations and bringing liquid IV.

No more Guacamole at Choza de Margarita? That’s my go-to food fast food at Epcot! I hope this is a VERY temporary change.
