We are coming back to florida November 11th this year & are there for 10 nights & are just doing the disney parks including the mickeys very merry Christmas party. We can’t wait as it was our 1st time as a family in florida last year & are really looking forward the Christmas magic.

Wish Disney would have published the dates for MVMCP earlier. We made our plans to visit 2 days during the week of Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday). AK on Thanksgiving day, and MK on our last day, Friday. These plans were made 60 days out to ensure we could eat a Thanksgiving-like dinner in MK at Diamond Horseshoe. At that time, MK was open until 9pm on that day. NOW, MK is closing early which means we won’t get to see the FW in the park. It looks like we’ll have to switch days (MK on Thurs, AK on Fri) in order to get a full day at MK and experience the FW in the park. The BIGGER issue/impact for us is that all the Diamond Horseshoe (and Liberty Tree) reservations are unavailable if we switch our days. We did everything right in getting online 60 days out for our plans, like AJ and team always tell you to do, but then Disney changed things which has now wrecked our whole itinerary. If we would have known about these dates at the 60 day timeframe we would have planned for it. Perhaps Disney should consider posting these extra hours event dates 60 days or more out from when they actually start, to avoid impacting families who have already scheduled items during the impacted time.
