Jollywood Nights Is Coming BACK to Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2024

Serious question — is there a better place to spend the holidays than at Disney World?

Disney World offers great holiday offerings, including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays, and Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney just released information on the latter and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Disney announced that Jollywood Nights 2024 will be held on select nights from November 9th through December 21st. This after-hours event will be celebrating its second year at Hollywood Studios and we’ve got all the details!

Jollywood Nights requires a special, separately sold after-hours ticket and will be held on the following dates:

November 9th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th
December 2nd, 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st

Tickets for Jollywood Nights 2024 range from $159 to $179 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by event date), and go on sale to the general public on July 10th. However, guests with reservations booked at select Walt Disney World hotels can purchase tickets beginning on July 2nd for event dates scheduled during their stay. Luckily, it doesn’t look like ticket prices have increased this year!

The event promises to feature event-exclusive entertainment, themed snacks and drinks, special character meet-and-greets, and more!

New additions to this year’s Jollywood Nights include a “dazzling skating spectacular on Hollywood Boulevard, set to your favorite holiday tunes. Take in the grace and skill of international champion skaters in an awe-inspiring twist on the traditional ice show—with performances at 8:15 PM, 9:15 PM, 10:20 PM, 11:15 PM and 12:15 AM.”

The Holiday Fiesta en la Calle — “a lively holiday street fair” that features “warm lighting, colorful décor and spirited musicians performing Latin holiday tunes—as well as appearances from José Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros” is moving to the Animation Courtyard area of the park.

Last year’s Jollywood Nights could be considered controversial and we were overwhelmed by how crowded the event was. And while we felt Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas provided better overall value, we’re still excited to give this year’s Jollywood Nights a second chance!

Entertainment from last year included live music throughout Hollywood Studios and event-exclusive shows like the Holidays in Hollywood Show, a Nightmare Before Christmas-themed sing-along, and the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks show.

Additionally, the event let us meet some rare characters, such as Powerline Max, Chip ‘n’ Dale as the Rescue Rangers, and Phineas and Ferb. That character lost has only grown this year, and will include new “rare” characters like Bo Peep, Lotso, and versions of Baloo, and King Louie from TaleSpin.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the exclusive snacks and merchandise Jollywood Nights offers! 2024 will see a new merchandise collection inspired by the original character Ollie, the most dapper gingerbread man in Hollywood. The line includes items like a Minnie Mouse ear headband and festive apparel.

Another big perk is that most of the Hollywood Studios rides are also open, so you can not only take in the festive atmosphere but get your fill of rides and attractions, as well!
