Do you know a lot about the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin?
Sure, it may not be a Disney-owned hotel, but we’ve often recommended a stay there. Not only do you get the same perks here as you would at a Disney World Deluxe hotel, but it’s often cheaper, and you can use and earn Mariott Bonvoy rewards points there. PLUS, it’s within walking distance of EPCOT. However, these two hotels also have a lot of great dining, like Rosa Mexicano, Todd English’s bluezoo, Il Mulino, and more. There’s also a hidden cafe you might know about, but we’re going to tell you about it right now.
There’s a little coffee spot in The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin called Java where you can pick up a variety of coffee drinks without ever having to track down a Starbucks. You can also grab some breakfast here (including Mickey waffles), as well as sandwiches and salads for lunch and dinner.
We decided to drop by Java recently to see what was new and saw a drink that immediately caught our eye: the Coconut Clouds Latte for $7.25. Okay, with a name like that, it has to be good, right? It’s made with espresso, coconut milk, cream of coconut, white mocha sauce, and vanilla syrup, and topped with whipped cream and coconut. Okay, YUM. Also bonus points if you order it without the whipped cream (like we did), it’s vegan!
We thought this was a solid drink, but it is VERY sweet. We didn’t get as much coconut flavor as we expected, though, especially considering all the coconut ingredients in it. However, it has a nice creamy consistency thanks to the coconut cream, plus just a little bit of coconut on top for a hint of coconutty flavor.Â
We’re going to say this might be just as good if not better than our usual drinks at Starbucks — and we didn’t have to stand in a long line to get it (let’s face it, those Starbucks lines can get SO long). So if you’re looking for a caffeinated beverage or an afternoon pick-me-up and you find yourself in the EPCOT area, just head on over to the Swan and Dolphin.

Just a note, Java is off the lobby at the Swan. It is a great place for coffee and snacks.
