As a classic rock fan, I am not at all excited about the Eat To The Beat lineup, nothing in the lineup moves me. In the past, we have seen 38 Special, Mickey Thomas (of Starship), Blue Oyster Cult, The Guess Who, Steve Augeri (Journey), Ambrosia… truly great bands with huge catalogues of music. Where are the great Classic Rock bands from past lineups?

AJ and DFB team thank you for information on the Eat to the Beat concerts and dining packages. I had been waiting for this information as we will be visiting 9/1-9/13. Can’t wait!!!!

Do you know why Air Supply is not going to be here?
Thanks
Suzanne says
Thanks for the update! Alas, I only see one artist on that list I’d want to see, and she doesn’t interest my husband at all. Guess I really don’t have to worry about the increased ETTB dining package increases after all.
Norma says
There are other ‘beats’ besides hard rock or hip hop. I’ve only heard of four of these artists and only like maybe one song from each so would not want to endure an entire concert. How cheap is wdw getting to not have big names from a variety of genres to appeal to all different ages!!?? Just another sign that Disney has lost Walt’s vision and is ignoring the very generations who put Disney on the map…..

What happened to the actual bands like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, 3 Special, Styx, and other great bands? For what the charge there has to be better bands available.
Not impressed
Marconi says
Interesting that once the “official” concert lineup was released Big Bad Voodoo is missing, although I did see them listed on some of the “preliminary” lists.
Notwithstanding, the festival is running through the 23rd, but the concerts only through the 18th?
Can’t figure what Disney is up to these days.
James says
No Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. No need to go to epcot this year. 15 years of consecutive concerts down the drain. They have been a staple of great music and fun for over 14-15 years and have a monster following. Thanks, but no thanks. Oh well, I’ll see them in another venue then.
