Attention All-Star Movie Resort fans: A MAJOR part of the hotel is now under construction.

If you’re staying at Disney’s popular, value-tier All-Star Movies Resort over the next month, be forewarned that the World Premiere Food Court – – touted by Disney as a place to “enjoy a blockbuster breakfast, lunch or dinner in a glitzy setting that resembles a grand movie theater lobby” – – won’t be what you’re used to. 

The World Premiere Food Court will be under construction from July 1st through the 31st, which is the entire month. During the refurbishment, you can still order food using the Mobile Order feature on the My Disney Experience app, and seating areas remain open.

We took a trip to All-Star Movies ourselves on July 1st to see for ourselves. This is what we found:

The World Premiere Food Court

As Disney specified, there are mobile order signs near the food court area that will allow you to order from your phone. According to a Cast Member we spoke with, the location’s menu has been temporarily minimized and streamlined to make this mobile order process as convenient as possible.

The location is fully mobile order at the moment and the kitchens, ordering areas, and registers are currently behind black curtains and other blockades.

Renovation

Once your mobile order is ready, you’ll be assigned a number and can come to a coordinating table with your number on it to pick up your food.

All of the food court’s seating areas, as well as the drink stations, are still open and available…

… as is a microwave near the Silver Spoon Spirits pool bar.

Self-service utensils can be found on a temporary cart.

The World Premiere Food Court isn’t the only major part of the All-Star Movies Resort currently scheduled for renovation. According to Disney, the Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is going to be closed from January 2025 through April 2025.

If you’re heading to All-Star Movies for a summer getaway over the next month, be prepared to deal with an under-construction, mobile order-only World Premiere food court.
