🎶 It’s the most wonderful time of the year!🎶 Yes, it’s currently summer. No, that’s not the time of year we’re talking about. Instead, we’re talking about the holiday season in Disney World! Between the short months of November and December, Magic Kingdom is completely transformed for the holidays! You’ll see Christmas trees, holiday wreaths, ornaments, and more. It’s SO much fun.
Christmas Parade
But there is one extra special event that happens every winter in Disney World, and it requires a special park ticket to attend. We’re talking about the highly popular Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, of course! Tickets go on sale VERY soon, and we have all the important details!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a seasonal event in Magic Kingdom that requires a special ticket. The party will take place on select nights from November 8th through December 20th, 2024. During the event, you can enjoy all kinds of party-exclusive activities and snacks — and even a special parade!

So, what kind of things can you expect to see and do? Well, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party features exclusive shows, like Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration! There’s also the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade we mentioned (complete with an appearance from THE Santa Claus and his famous Marching Band of Toy Soldiers). Plus, you’ve got the Holiday Fireworks spectacular: Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks to enjoy, along with dance parties like Club Tinsel and Disney Junior Jingle Jam.

Oh, and we didn’t even mention the FOOD! All throughout the event, you can visit TONS of cookie and cocoa spots offering complimentary snacks and drinks! Plus, you might even find some party-exclusive treats available to purchase, along with souvenir popcorn buckets, sippers, shirts, pins, and more.

One of people’s favorite things to do is meet RARE characters during the party. You’ll find all kinds of classic Disney characters dressed up in festive holiday outfits. It’s SO fun!

Interested? You’re in luck! Tickets go on sale soon. In fact, the 2024 dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are listed below:
- November 8th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 27th, 29th
- December 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th
Now, you might want to mark your calendars. If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel, or Shades of Green, you can purchase tickets starting on July 2nd, 2024 (for event dates during your stay).

For everyone else, tickets will go on sale July 10th, 2024. We recommend purchasing tickets as soon as possible — you never know when they might sell out!

Oh, and while we’re on the subject, we should mention that over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Jollywood Nights is returning for 2024! Disney Jollywood Nights is a separately ticketed event that will take place on thirteen select nights from November 9th through December 21st, 2024.

As part of the event, guests can view the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime fireworks and projections spectacular, enjoy exclusive treats, meet OVER 20 rare characters, and more! People staying at Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2nd (for event dates during their stay). For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10th, 2024.
