When it comes to deciding what to wear to Disney World, we have plenty of opinions.
That’s especially true when it comes to shoes, too! It’s always important to wear a comfortable pair that has already been worn in, but if you’re looking for a new pair to break in before your next Disney World trip we think we know just the one! And, we’re pretty sure you have to wear them at the Polynesian hotel — it’s an unofficial rule we just made up.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a haven for all things, well, Polynesian! This tropical hotel escape was inspired by the tropics and instantly transports us nearly every time we step foot through the doors. Speaking of taking steps, we’re pretty passionate about what shoes we wear to Disney World and we think we may have found the perfect pair of shoes for the Polynesian!
Get the Floral Hokas Vibrant Bloom Bondi L BP Sneaker
We don’t know about you, but these HOKA sneakers are giving us serious Polynesian hotel vibes! We love the floral accents and the way the vine wraps around the shoe. There’s also a fun, purple tie-dye accent on the sole of the shoes too.
And, HOKA uses cushioning to put performance comfort under every step in a sneaker styled with embroidered leather and soft mesh atop a chunky, supportive sole. A padded collar and rocker construction in the tread promote plush, heel-to-toe movement from stride to stride, so you’ll be comfy walking around Disney World all day long!
Lots of our DFB team members swear by HOKA sneakers. They’re known for being extremely comfortable — almost like walking on clouds! If you’ve been wanting to get yourself a pair, or maybe just another pair, this might be your sign!

Nice skips–but I wouldn’t wear leather sneakers in Florida. Gives me athlete’s foot.

I am going to check these out to see if they have men’s styles and sizes. I live in Florida. The secret to wearing sneakers in Florida is to have two pair so that you rotate them and allow them to dry out between wearings and wear ankle high or crew socks, so that the sock fabric can wick moisture away from your feet. Low show or no show socks won’t do that. Also, merino wool socks are the best fabric to keep your feet dry.
