We’re gearing up for one of the BIGGEST theme park events in Orlando…the opening of a NEW park!
Universal Orlando is set to open Universal Epic Universe in 2025 and we can’t wait to be there! We don’t have an official opening date yet, but Universal has already shared details about several of the lands, rides, restaurants, and offerings coming to the park. But what about the tickets? Well, we’ve got some news!
Orlando Business Journal reports that Universal Orlando has shared Epic Universe ticketing information with third-party sellers. And the initial details are quite interesting.
At first, those buying tickets through Universal Orlando’s sales partners will only be able to access Epic Universe by purchasing a multi-day Universal Orlando ticket package with a three-day minimum. All of those options will allot ONE day at Epic Universe and will not allow for park hopping to or from Epic Universe. At the time of launch, there will not be an option to purchase a single-day Epic Universe ticket.
Keep in mind that this information could change in the future, so we’ll continue to keep our eyes peeled for more reports. This was the information given specifically to third-party sellers of Universal Orlando tickets, like online theme park ticket websites, so it could also be different than what’s offered directly from Universal.
Vice President of Public Relations Alyson Sologaistoa of Universal shared some more details on this news, saying, “We are introducing products in a phased approach starting with multi-day ticket packages that include an opportunity to visit Epic Universe in addition to the entire Universal Orlando Resort for those planning vacations further out.”
“We plan to offer a range of ticket products to help manage the expected demand for Epic Universe and to ensure all guests visiting have a great experience at this groundbreaking park,” said Sologaistoa. Universal Orlando realizes that the new park will be incredibly popular when it first opens, and to make the guest experience as optimum as possible, they’ll need to regulate things a bit.
Epic Universe will have five new lands, including Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk. We can’t wait to check them all out, along with the “more than 50 awe-inspiring attractions, entertainment, dining, and shopping experiences.”
It’s going to be a huge draw for movie fans once it’s completed, and we’re excited to check it out next year! We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop with any more announcements or ticket information.
