🦠 A PLAGUE Has Infected EPCOT's Tiny Train Town! 🦠

There’s a teeny tiny city in Disney World, and it’s filled with mischief and misdeeds.

The tiny train town in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT is one of our favorite places to stop and enjoy the ambiance in the park, but a few months back, we began to notice that it’s absolutely RIFE with crime! The residents there get into all kinds of trouble, and we’ve documented it all. Now it’s time for a weekly update from me, the town’s mayor!

First of all, we have to touch on a hot topic — the werewolf has returned! Last week, we noticed that the werewolf was gone, and we were worried that the beast had finally taken down brave citizen Dave. However, Dave has returned, strong-willed and ready to defend the city against the werewolf! Let’s all cheer for Dave! (Dave is the guy in the beige jacket, if you didn’t know.)

After a recent series of derailings, we now have all the railroad depots under surveillance to watch for suspicious activity. I’ve long suspected the railroad workers of forming a coup, and we’re keeping a close eye on their activities now.

But this week’s big notice is that there seems to be some kind of virus sweeping the town. Several of our residents have collapsed in the street, and we can only assume that this sickness is contagious. The first person we spotted with this issue was in the town square — an older gentleman collapsed in the doorway of a local shop.

The second victim collapsed outside of his home in the hills. Thankfully, his wife was there to call emergency services and get him the care he needed. His vitals are being monitored at a hospital outside the city.

Now the illness has even spread to our town’s doctor! His unconscious body was found lying outside of his office. Who’s going to save us now?!

To keep from getting sick, we are encouraging our residents to stay inside for a few days. Several people have already taken to holing up at home, and we think this is probably a good practice while we call in doctors from the next town over.

We’ll continue to keep watch on both the werewolf and this mysterious plague, so stay tuned to DFB for all the updates. We’ve got the latest on the tiny train town!

* The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.
