We have been festival-less in EPCOT all summer, but that will soon change!
At the end of this month, on August 29th, the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will return, and we are so excited! We have been waiting for this festival to return, as EPCOT has not had a festival since May when the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival ended. For those of you who are itching to know what booths/ Global Marketplaces will be included in this year’s festival, we have some good news!
This year’s Food and Wine Festival will feature over 30 Global Marketplaces, which means lots of new eats and drinks, plus some of our favorite treats will make their return this year! We already knew that four booths were confirmed for the festival: the Belgium Booth, the Germany Booth, the Alps Booth, and the Hawaii Booth.
Today, we learned that the Fry Basket Booth, Flavors from Fire Booth, Canada Booth, India Booth, and Spain Booth will all be part of this year’s Food and Wine Festival, too.
Shimmering Sips, a booth presented by CORCICLE, will also be part of this year’s Food and Wine Festival and will double as the prize location for those who complete Emile’s Fromage Montage.
Cheese lovers can participate in Emile’s Fromage Montage by trying five different qualifying cheese items throughout different Global Marketplaces. Once you collect five stamps, you will be able to head to Shimmering Sips to redeem your passport for a sweet treat that can only be found during the festival!
If cheese is not your thing, you can also participate in Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt. Simply purchase your map at certain locations around EPCOT and search for Remy around the park. Whether you complete the scavenger hunt or not, you can redeem your map for a festival-themed prize!
You can also Eat to the Beat during the Food and Wine Festival at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Throughout the festival, you can find live music at the America Garden’s Theatre located in the American Adventure. This year’s lineup features The Fray, MercyMe, and a newcomer to the lineup, American Idol runner-up David Archuletta and so many more!
We are so excited to see and try everything on August 29th! The festival runs until November 23rd, but don’t worry, EPCOT won’t be festival-less for long when the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays returns on November 29th. As always, stay tuned for DFB for more updates and news about festival merchandise, new Global Marketplaces, and all the eats coming to the 2024 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival!

BARRY MOSS says
I’ll get excited about the F&W Festival again when it actually starts to have some wine components; e.g. wine tastings, wine seminars, wine schools, wine makers dinners. Another few food trucks without wheels is just going to get a big yawn. I won’t stop going to Disney, but instead of a 2 week trip around the Epcot F&W Festival, it will be a 4-day weekend to hit the rides and I’ll take the rest of my vacation at a real wine festival someplace else.
