Photos AND Reviews: ALL the 2024 Fall and Halloween Treats in Disney World!
We started our tasting journey where all visits to Magic Kingdom start, over on Main Street Bakery to pick up our first treat! The Minnie Witch Hat which is made up of chocolate cookie topped with peanut butter mousse, milk chocolate ganache, and buttercream and costs $7.99!
Our first party treat of the night! This is the Minnie Witch Hat from Main Street Bakery!

This treat is very peanut butter forward even though there’s just a dollop of it in the center. The chocolate cookie is on the harder side but crumbles easily in your mouth. The whole thing is coated in the purple frosting while the orange detailing frosting is buttercream. It’s beautiful, but for $8 it’s a one-and-done kind of treat for us. However, if you’re looking for an Instagrammable treat, this is it!
Over at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, we picked up the Cinnamon-Apple Sundae and Graveyard Milk Shake!
The Cinnamon-Apple Sundae is made of dulce de leche ice cream topped with caramel sauce, apple pie filling, cinnamon candies, and whipped cream and will cost you $7.79!
There is a cinnamon glaze gel on top which goes really well with ice cream and the caramel sauce! The cinnamon candies were a little weird because when they were on the cold ice cream they got even harder chew. It melted REALLY fast, and we don’t recommend walking around with it because it was spilling out of our bowl. Overall, this is a great treat to sit down and enjoy!
The Graveyard Milk Shake consists of a chocolate milkshake with a dipped graveyard jelly doughnut, white chocolate tombstone, gummy candy, and a Haunted Mansion straw for $8.49.
This was a standard chocolate milkshake, but it was very thick! There is a layer of cookie and cream crumble that makes it even trickier to eat. The donut is a glazed donut with a raspberry filling, but there wasn’t a lot of filling. We probably wouldn’t get it again since it was just a jazzed-up chocolate shake, and there are so many other exclusive party treats to get.
Winding down the eerie pathways, we found ourselves stopping by Liberty Square Market in Liberty Square for the Skull Blondie!
We’ve got another SKULL treat this year at #MNSSHP! This time it’s the Skull Blondie!
Find it at Liberty Square Market until 8:30 p.m. and then at Sleepy Hollow for $5.29! pic.twitter.com/5FIClf5Ky5

The Skull Blondie which is a maple blondie with caramel sauce you can snag for $5.29! The blondie is available at Liberty Square Market until 8:30PM, then it becomes available at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments.
This treat was hard and pretty dense, but the flavors were really good! There were fun fall flavors like cinnamon and nutmeg with the maple. The white topping and chocolate eyes and nose were very sugary, but overall we really liked the blondie as it was. The caramel sauce wasn’t anything special, and we honestly enjoyed the blondie better without it since it was already pretty sweet. It’s not the best blondie we’ve ever had, but we were pleasantly surprised!
As we made our way to the back side of the park, we headed over to Storybook Treats in Fantasyland to check out the new Anastasia Cone. This beauty is made of Dole Whip Strawberry with lemon curd and strawberry popping candies with a chocolate piece and will cost you$6.79!
The lemon curd is only a drizzle on top and not infused with the DOLE Whip, so it wasn’t a heavy lemon flavor. However, it did add a nice tartness to it. The strawberry was good, but it’s the same flavor that is used for the Aurora cone, so it’s nothing special.

That’s not the only treat we were in search of here! We also picked up the Drizella Cone, too! This treat is a blueberry soft-serve with vanilla crispy pearls and a chocolate piece and cost us $6.79.
We found the blueberry flavor to be very faint. If someone told us it was vanilla with blue food coloring, we would believe it. It was very creamy and refreshing, and we liked the crunch the pearls added. If you’re hoping for something fruity, though, you might be disappointed.
Overall, both of these cones are similar to other cones you can get during the day, so they didn’t seem very special for the party. It’s cool seeing the sisters being represented, but we wouldn’t go out of our way to get these when there are so many other exclusive party treats!

As we made our way into Frontierland, we stopped by one of our favorite treat stops, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café, for the Grilled Masa Flatbread, Spiced Chocolate Mousse Bar, and the Guava Lemonade Slushy!
We tried out the Grilled Masa Flatbread first which is made of a grilled corn cake topped with butternut squash purée, braised chicken, cilantro-pumpkin seed sauce, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and queso fresco and cost us $12.99.
This was really good. We were impressed with the butternut squash base, but mostly this was sorta’ like a taco with a bunch of toppings on it, but just in flat form. It wasn’t super unique, but we were thrilled to have this on a grilled corn tortilla vs. the typical flour torillas you usually get at Pecos Bill. Also, we asked and were told you can have this made to be vegan.
Then we moved on to the Spiced Chocolate Mousse Bar made of spiced chocolate mousse, dulce de leche, orange glaze, and a sugar candy which costs $6.99.
This reminded us a lot of the Letter to Santa treat we had from Main Street Bakery at last year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It’s very rich and decadent. However, it WILL stain your hands if you touch the outside, so be careful with that. There’s an undertone of orange flavor that reminded us of a chocolate orange. Would we get it again? Probably not, but it was tasty enough.
And then it was time to wash it all down with the Guava Lemonade Slushy with cheesecake foam, Halloween sprinkles, and sugar candy for $6.49.
Okay, so we love the spooky design on the top of the slushy made with candies. The candy isn’t really that much to get excited about, but it looks fun.
The slushy itself was great and we wished this was something we could order during the daytime. The whipped cream on top is really interesting because it’s made with a cream cheese base, so it’s thicker than you might expect. If you’re not a fan of that or just don’t want it on the drink, though, you can request it be left off the drink.
We had some unfinished business left to take care of down Main Street U.S.A. so we turned heel and headed that way! We first stopped by Casey’s Corner for the Mickey-shaped Cheesecake! This little cutie is made of pumpkin cheesecake with graham cracker crust and white chocolate whipped ganache for $6.29. Aside from it’s adorable presentation, it tastes just as good (if not better) as it looks!
It’s made in the shape of a Mickey pumpkin and the dyed whipped cream on top of the cheesecake is light and fluffy but not flavored very strongly (it’s more for looks). We thought it was a super cute photogenic treat and we almost liked it too much to cut into it!
After we took a bite we realized that the cheesecake on the inside was more of a true cream cheese New York style cheesecake with a soft pumpkin flavor and not so much on the sweeter side that we’ve seen Disney lean into more historically which was a nice change. The whipped cream against the pumpkin flavored cheesecake was a great mashup and gave us all the Fall vibes, and almost reminded us of a similar taste to pumpkin pie (just thicker and cream cheesier). Overall, we were pleased with how well this treat works together and we would totally pick up another over again!
While we were nearby, we decided to pop on over to the hub churro cart to snag the Oogie Boogie Cupcake! This monstrous treat is made of chocolate cupcake with marshmallow buttercream, cookies and cream buttercream, gummy candy, and an Oogie Boogie chocolate piece which will cost you $6.25!
Don’t let it spooky presentation keep you from trying out this cupcake though! There’s a lot more to it than meets the eye! When we cut into the cupcake, we found it was filled with green buttercream icing — just like the original boogyman himself!
The chocolate cupcake base was sweet, chocolatey, and softer than we remember most Disney World cupcakes being. The icing on top mimicked a taste of cookies and cream and while it was buttercream, it wasn’t thick and lardy where it would leave a lasting coat on the roof of your mouth (which we truly appreciated)! The gummy worm candies were chewy although a little hard as we’re sure they had been chilled for a while and thawing out a bit before it was time to bring them out for the party and the while chocolate Oogie Boogie character piece made it all come together real nicely. Overall, it was a better cupcake than we expected it to be with a few surprises up its sleeve (or should we say hidden in the depths of the cupcake).
We had one last stop to make around Tomorrowland at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe! Here we picked up a whole slew of new treats too with the Ube Green Tea Slushy, Halloween Pot Roast Sandwich, and Sinister Satay Burger.
Starting things off with the Ube Green Tea Slushy, we felt we were truly treated and not tricked with this drink! It’ll cost you $6.49 but we have to sing its praises here a bit! This drink was so delicious — truly! It’s got a fitting deep purple color and the fun cherry flavored whipped cream at the top is also dyed a lighter shade of pink and covered in a fun deep red drizzle, red cinnamon candies, and a fun white chocolate tombstone feature.
When we stabbed our straw into the drink we noticed right away how incredible this flavor was together! While we didn’t get a ton of the green tea standalone flavor in our sips, it was noticeable on the back end when you were searching for it, right behind that more prominent ube flavor. It almost tasted a little sour and you might find yourself puckering your mouth a bit over the first few sips until your tastebuds adjust. We seriously wish this was offered during the regular park days because it was truly a hidden gem!
Then we moved on to the Halloween Pot Roast Sandwich which is made of (you guessed it) pot roast meat, topped with cheddar and horseradish mayonnaise served on a black bun for $12.99.
Honestly we were stoked to try this one when it was served to us wrapped in foil because when we unwrapped the sandwich it smelled just like an Arby’s roast beef sandwich with cheese and we were instantly hooked! The bun had a fun Halloween dye to it, but it didn’t have anything extra to it in terms of flavor.
We have to tell you, we’re pretty sure we heard the Muses singing when we bit into this sandwich! It was DELICIOUS (yes, we’re screaming it from the rooftops)! The meat was very tender, flavored just like you had pulled it out of a crockpot or slow cooker, well seasoned, and when accompanied by that melting cheddar cheese it created a chorus only the gods on Mount Olympus could possibly have put together! We truly hope that everyone really enjoys this sandwich and is vocal about it enough for Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe to potentially consider adding it to their daily menu because it could truly turn this entire restaurants fan base around with just a few bites!
Last on our stop here was the Sinister Satay Burger which cost us $13.79. This burger was made up of the same festive dyed bun over a cocoa-rubbed all-beef patty with bacon, lime pickles, and Thai peanut sauce.
Yeah, if we weren’t full already this one would have done us in! I mean, just look at that thing! The first thing we noticed about this burger is how well we could smell the Thai peanut sauce and initially mistook it for a peanut butter smell.
But, after digging into the burger a few bites our taste buds had to changed our minds to correct the correlation to just the Thai peanut sauce which was delicious! The bacon strips were just cripsy enough to stay a bit chewy however, we did think the choice of the lime pickles may have been an odd choice against the sweeter Thai peanut sauce.
Overall, while a lot of the new toppings helped dress it up, it was still a base of a familiar Cosmic Ray’s burger patty just with a new rub around the patty. It was fine for a different spin on a classic burger but the true stand out between the two sandwiches we tried was definitely the Halloween Pot Roast Sandwich.

The Cinnamon-Apple Sundae looks like an absolute mess. Disney should have put it in a large plastic cup layering flavors. I could see kids giving up on this one quick because of the mess. Kids would also need the ice cream offerings in a cup. I know we weren’t allowed to have cones until we were a certain age or we proved ourselves to be fast lickers.
