This week we got the 4-1-1 on a classic attraction opening up with CHANGES, a NEW land coming to the Magic Kingdom, and big REVEALS for EPCOT’S 2024 International Food and Wine Festival. Peter Pan’s Flight In Magic Kingdom Has Reopened with CHANGES
Peter Pan’s Flight has reopened, and something new can be found on the ride. We decided to take a flight over the rooftops of London and to Neverland and immediately noticed that the scene with the Native Americans had been updated. Here’s what the old scene looked like. As you can see, the figures are stern and a little cartoonish.
Here’s what the new scene looks like. The characters have a more realistic appearance and the scene itself has changed. Now, it shows Tiger Lily and her grandmother performing a dance by the fire as if in celebration.
Here’s a video so you can get a closer look at this new scene.

Peter Pan’s Flight is a classic Disney ride — the one in Disney World is based on the ride that first opened in Disneyland on that park’s opening day in 1955. The original ride was based on Disney’s animated film Peter Pan, which released in 1953, based on the book by J.M. Barrie. Disney World’s version of Peter Pan’s Flight features an interactive queue where you can visit the home of the Darlings, including the nursery.
There are a lot of changes planned for the Magic Kingdom in the upcoming future, so you can definitely count on us to keep you updated on all of them!
Disney World Is Getting 8 New Rides!
CONFIRMED: Location Revealed for NEW Villains Land Coming to Magic Kingdom
Rumors of a Disney Villains-themed land coming to the Magic Kingdom have been a mainstay of the Disney fan community for decades, with alleged plans dating back to the 1990s. That long wait made it a dream — or perhaps a nightmare is more appropriate — come true for fans when the land was FINALLY announced at D23.
During the announcement, Josh D’Amaro said of the land, “Be prepared, you poor unfortunate souls, it’s going to be a fearless new vision for what a Disney experience can be.”
Now, days after the D23 announcement, Disney has confirmed further details about the highly-anticipated land, including its location. According to the Disney, “guests will be able to venture Beyond Big Thunder Mountain into an all-new land dedicated to Disney Villains. Inspired by the wicked characters fans know and loathe, the multi-acre expansion will include two major attractions, plus dining and shopping. Walt Disney Imagineering is pushing creative boundaries to dark and mysterious levels to bring this new, first-of-its-kind land to life.”
That’s right — it’ll be past Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!
The land “will encompass all your dreams- er, nightmares. The space will be home to two major attractions, dining, and shopping on an incredibly twisted grand scale… You might have just felt a shiver run down your spine. That’s because preparation is already underway at Magic Kingdom for this new land. Maybe think twice before you indulge in that next shiny red apple…”
This massive new Villain-themed land, combined with the also-announced Cars expansion coming to the Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland, is the largest expansion in the history of Disney World’s original theme park.
After literal decades of waiting, Villains Land is FINALLY coming to the Magic Kingdom, and now we know exactly where this bastion of evil will be located!

Wow! You think the Indians in the old version of Peter Pan was a little cartoonish…Newsflash…It’s a ride based on a cartoon. Good grief.😳
Tammy says
Cars Land isn’t an expansion since they are removing iconic parts of the park to shoehorn this in. I know it’s happening but I wish they would reconsider.
