Figuring out what to pack in your Disney parks bag can be a challenge.
You want to be prepared for everything from warm weather to phone batteries dying. We go to Disney World every day, so we thought we would show you the six items we always carry in our park bag so that you will have no regrets!
After visiting the parks every day, we have learned what is absolutely a necessity to carry with us and hopefully these six items can help your days in the parks go smoother on your next visit to Disney World!
Get this Super Reliable Poncho
It is no secret that it rains quite a bit in Central Florida, especially during the summertime. While the parks do sell ponchos, they are pricey and do not always cover you completely. We love this Frogg Toggs poncho because not only is it reliable but covers our backpack, is breathable, and easy to put back in its bag.
Is a Loungefly Your Choice Park Bag? Then You Need this Organizer.
Loungefly backpacks are super popular in the parks. There are so many cute and fun Disney designs and they are a great sized park bag. While certain Loungefly bags have different pockets, if you want to keep your bag organized, we love this backpack organizer that fits perfectly in a Loungefly backpack and other mini backpacks.
Protect Yourself from the Sun with this UV Umbrella
It can get hot in the parks, especially when the sun is beating down on you. We love this UV umbrella because it not only protects us from the sun, but it also keeps us cool. As an added bonus it can keep you dry during a light storm.
Conquer EPCOT Festivals with this Reusable Utensil SetÂ
The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is right around the corner and if you are like us, you are going to want to try all the yummy new foods that the festival has to offer. If you forget to grab plastic utensils or want a more environmentally friendly solution, we love to carry this reusable travel utensil set. It comes in different colors and includes a case, fork, knife, and spoon. It is also easy to clean.
Save Money and Buy FuelRods Ahead of Time
You will be using your phone a lot at Disney World, especially to use the My Disney Experience app. To avoid your phone running out of battery, there are FuelRod stations throughout the parks and resorts. FuelRods at Disney World are a one time fee and then have unlimited swaps, but you can save money beforehand by ordering them online ahead of time! Plus they come in a two pack which saves you even more money. The parks currently are using new FuelRods, but you are still able to switch out the old FuelRods for the new ones free of charge in the parks.
Keep Your Water Cool and Stay Hydrated with this Owala Water Bottle
Water bottles in the parks can be pricey, but you can actually bring your own water bottle into the parks and this water bottle is our favorite one! There are refill stations throughout the parks that can be found on the My Disney Experience app. You can even get cold ice water to fill your bottle with at quick-service locations. As a tip, we love to have characters sign this specific Owala water bottle so it can double as an autograph book and a way to stay hydrated!
Make sure to add these six items to your park bag before your vacation to Disney World as they have helped make our park days so much easier!
Paige says
I strongly disagreed with umbrellas of any sort.
People seem unaware that umbrellas are larger than they are and I cannot say how many times I have been poked or had to duck from them.
They are inconsiderate of others around them and should be banned from the parks.
Use ponchos instead. For protection from the sun, wear a hat and frequent indoor attractions to get away from the sun/heat.
