Okay, so you’re in Disney World, and you’re suddenly hit with a feeling of freedom, especially when it comes to shopping.
It is so hard to resist all the wonderful Disney goodies in the shops, after all, right? It doesn’t even matter if you need said souvenirs, when you’re in Disney World, you’re suddenly throwing money at everything. But hear us out. We have some controversial Disney World souvenir opinions, and we just NEED to share.
First up, do you have Amazon Prime? If not, did you know you could get a free trial of the service? Yep, score that free shipping FOR free for a limited time.
Get the Disney Stickers Loungefly Mini Backpack
Don’t buy Disney Loungeflys at Disney World? Just don’t…why? Well, here’s the thing: you’re going to almost always pay full price for those bags in Disney shops. However, you can often find the same bags or similar bags online for less! So if you see a bag you like at Disney World, just walk away and look it up online later. You’ll end up saving serious $$$. Anyway, is there anything cuter than this Stickers Bag? We love it so much that we bought it ourselves!
Buy the Owala Water Bottle
Okay, we’re also going to tell you to not buy autograph books. They are SO boring. We much prefer getting something else signed, like our favorite Water Bottle. Yes, we’ve done this. Grab one of these water bottles, which you can actually USE, and get all the characters to sign it!

Get the Frozen Flashing Lights Ears
Another thing you might want to reconsider buying in the parks is ears. Sure, ears are a lot of fun — but you can find some pretty awesome ones online, and you’ll probably save more money. For example, these Flashing Light Ears Inspired By Frozen are the perfect accessory for your outfit and they’re under $13.
Buy the Pack of Glowsticks
Once it gets dark in Disney World, you will see all kinds of carts come out with light-up accessories, and trust us — none of those are actually cheap. However, you can just whip out your pack of glowsticks to light up the night in Disney World for a LOT less. Kids LOVE these, and you don’t have to spend a fortune to make the kiddos happy.

Get the Hundred Acre Wood Tee
Another thing you should not buy in Disney World include t-shirts. So those t-shirts can be pricey, especially when you can buy them for a lot less online. This Winnie the Pooh-themed shirt is under $20, and good luck finding a tee in Disney World that cheap! Get those tees online BEFORE your trip.
It’s always best to do some Disney souvenir shopping BEFORE your trip because you’re sure to find some great deals online. As always, stay tuned to DFB for more.

If you are going to get characters to sign a water bottle, I recommend you spray clear coat spray paint over it as soon as you get home. I didn’t do that and the signatures faded off in 2 weeks.
