Mexico is a always a popular booth at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival and we’re checking out the new menu items right now!
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival runs through November 23rd this year! Throughout the festival, there are plenty of food booths, merchandise items, and concerts too. Come along with us to the Mexico booth to find out if it’s a booth you need to add to your must-eat-here list!
Menu
Three new food items arrived at the Mexico booth this year — the Tostada de Camarones, Flauta de Barbacoa, and Pan de Elote. The booth is also serving two new beverages — the Mango Sunrise Margarita and Poblano Margarita. The Mexican Craft Beer is a returning favorite.
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s EAT!

Eats
First up, let’s talk about the Tostada de Camarones. The tostada is made with tempura battered shrimp atop a fried corn tortilla with guacamole, cabbage, chipotle aïoli, diced mango, and chile-lime powder. This is available for $7.75.
We found this dish to have an amazing explosion of flavors! Every time we took a bite we got to taste different flavors, which made it all come together for an amazing bite. We would say this is like shrimp tacos but like 10 times better! It came with three huge pieces of fried shrimp that were fried perfectly. The shell on the bottom even stayed crispy even with all the toppings. This was SO GOOD.
Next up is the Flauta de Barbacoa, which is fried tortillas filled with barbacoa beef topped with salsa verde, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco. Get this for $8!
Now, our reporter who tried this normally does not like flautas, but they said that this dish was amazing! The corn fry was light and airy and not greasy at all. It is stuffed with juicy and delicious marinated meat. The salsa was our favorite part. It had a little kick to it, and when combined with the cheese, this whole dish just melts in your mouth.
The dessert for this booth is the Pan de Elote which is a traditional Mexican cornbread topped with chocolate sauce and queso fresco. You can order this for $6.
We were a little worried about this one because desert corn bread covered in chocolate sauce does not sound appetizing…but we were wrong! This was UNBELIEVABLE! The cornbread was super moist and was similar to the texture of a tres leches cake. The chocolate combined with the raspberry on top gave it a fruity tartness. This honestly might be one of the best desserts we have ever had at the Food and Wine Festival.
Drinks
The first new margarita for 2024 is the Mango Sunrise Margarita which is made with Dos Hombres Mezcal, Centinela Tequila, mango purée, and black currant liquor with a chile-lime salt rim. It’ll cost you $13.25.
This reminded us of a La Cava del Tequila level of drink. It was perfectly blended and was not overpowered by the mango. It was a nice tropical-flavored margarita
The other new margarita is the Poblano Margarita which is made with Lalo Tequila Blanco, Abasolo Corn Whisky, lime juice, and Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Poblano Liqueur with a salt rim. This one is $13.
Out of the two margaritas, this one was our favorite one. Just like the Mango Sunrise Margarita, we found it to be perfectly blended and at the level of margarita that you would find at La Cava. We felt that this left the perfect amount of peppery flavor on our lips without burning our mouth. While we could taste the tequila, the drink was super balanced without having that harsh aftertaste.
The last beverage offered here is Mexican Craft Beer. This beer is $6 for a 6oz and $11 for a 12oz.
This is actually the only returning item for this booth. When we’ve had this beer in the past, we thought it tasted pretty basic. It’s a smooth Mexican lager that we think beer drinkers will enjoy, and a solid choice for anyone who isn’t looking for their beverage to be too sweet or too adventurous.
OVERALL
We loved this both and found every item on here to be best of the fest worthy! We will 100% be returning to the Mexico booth multiple times throughout the festival because the food is just that good. We think the Mexico booth is always good, but this year, it was like…shockingly good.
