The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially kicked off!
We’ve spent the entire weekend eating ALL the things (so much food, y’all), and checking out everything the festival has to offer this year, including the food, merchandise, entertainment, and more. The festival runs through November 23rd, so you have plenty of time to catch it. While you’re at it, though, you may want to get in line for one of EPCOT’s most underrated rides because it recently got a Food & Wine update!
Living with the Land has a new look, thanks to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! You’ll get to see some of the ingredients that have been used for dishes at the various food booths this year and throughout Disney World.
For example, here’s the pineapple used at the Hawaii booth.
You can see the rice plants where the rice is harvested for Spain, as well as several of the food booths with rice dishes.
How about getting a peek at the banana like the banana flavors used in one of Joffrey’s special festival coffee drink? Here’s some trivia: many people think bananas grow on trees, but they actually grow on these massive flowering plants.
There’s also fresh celery on display, as well as parsley, as used in the food booths for Canada and France, respectively.
There are also some special displays to enjoy when you take that boat ride through The Land Pavilion.
We love this spread, all made up fresh food that was grown right in The Land Pavilion.
So, if you have a chance to ride Living with the Land when you visit the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, you should! First, it’s a great educational ride where you can learn about how food is grown in plant form for Disney World. But it’s also relaxing, air-conditioned, and super chill, which is what you often need in the middle of a hot Florida day. So don’t skip out on this ride! Oh, and here’s a peek at some of our FAVORITE Food and Wine snacks this year. Take notes!

I find this a bit dubious, a few rice plants won’t feed many people for a multiple month long festival.
