Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando!
Disney World saw something VERY RARE this week. Flight of Passage did NOT have the highest average wait time at the resort, that title instead went to Slinky Dog Dash. Meanwhile, Jungle Cruise closed for refurbishment and the Lighting Lane Multi Pass continued to impact the resort.
Take a look at this week’s average wait times!
Magic Kingdom Wait Times
The Magic Kingdom saw wait times stay relatively stable after last week’s sharp decreases, even with the closure of The Jungle Cruise.

EPCOT Wait Times
The wait times in EPCOT actually increased this week. Was it perhaps due to larger crowds brought in by the International Food & Wine Festival? There are a LOT of dedicated Food & Wine Festival fans out there, so it wouldn’t surprise us if all those (hungry) visitors caused the average wait times to increase this week.
(NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, so it’s not included here.)

Animal Kingdom Wait Times
Even Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage, saw something almost unprecedented this week: Not only was the standby wait time UNDER an hour (granted, it was only by a minute, but still one of the rarest wait time sights in Disney World), but for the first time in ages, Flight of Passage was NOT Walt Disney World’s busiest ride by average wait time! Nature is healing.

Terri T says
It’s party season and a holiday week so it makes sense more locals were at Food & Wine and not MK last week. Not sure I’d draw conclusions from one week though. Add in the fact that these are some of the lowest weeks of the year and locals will have a disproportionate impact. We had a split stay at GF and BC and even the staff was commenting on how empty the hotels were. We stayed away from Epcot at peak weekend times but otherwise we saw low waits everywhere. Of course that was balanced out by crushing heat so I’m not sure it was worth it. We usually come in Oct and will probably go back to that plan.
