As usual, Southwest hates Albany, NY. While there are a literal few discounted fares, they are midweek and with predawn departures or late night arrivals in October. None are for holidays which are in the $300+ one way category to either Orlando or Tampa (Saturday nonstops only). Kids are in school and adults are working so those sale fares are only helping business travelers! We don’t waste hours sitting around terminals hoping our luggage is routed to our connecting flight. And why have to waste two full days of vacay just trying to get to wdw? Been flying Southwest forty years but they’ve gone downhill since 2000 and are about to go off the deep end in 2025. There are no other airlines worth flying. Sigh. Trains and buses are about the same price. We will have to drive to Florida from now on….if we go at all….Disney should make better deals with airlines, or maybe start their own!? Although if they can’t/won’t even bother to get us to and from the airport anymore, I guess we shouldn’t hold our breath….Really miss Magical Express!!!!!
