It is no secret that we are HUGE Disney fans here at Disney Food Blog.
We recently came across a Threads post that has made it onto our list of favorite takes about Disney World, and we knew we had to share it with you!
We love being a part of Disney social media, and hearing from so many Disney fans. There is so much Disney content available online, but sometimes we come across a post that we just have to share.
@jonathan_carone posted the following observation of his Disney trip on Threads:
“I love the diversity of Disney. So many languages, accents, and cultures all living their lives, respecting their differences, and working to help each other when needed. I hope that’s what heaven is like – minus the $5 Cherry Coke.”
We think he may have hit the nail on the head with this one and we love this view of Disney World! Disney World is a VERY popular tourist destination with millions and millions of guests traveling to the resort each year.
These millions of guests travel from all around the world to experience Disney World, and as a result, there are so many cultures represented. During your trip, you will hear a variety of languages being spoken and you will come across people from all over.
While EPCOT encourages the discovery of other cultures while you are exploring the World Showcase, it is always amazing to see the diversity that is represented in the Cast Members and guests throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. We love seeing others experience Disney World and the magic of the parks and resorts.
As Jonathan Carone said, it truly is a special place where people are living their lives, respecting differences, and helping each other when needed. Like many, we consider Disney to be our happy place, and we think Jonathan’s observation is just one reason why Disney World is so unique.
We also can’t argue that food prices are on the pricy side, however, we also think there is some AMAZING food at Disney! Could a Cherry Coke be a bit less expensive? Sure, but it also comes with the territory. We are a bit biased as we write about Disney food for a living, but we really think the Disney food scene is pretty great. We have full guides to some of our favorite Disney World restaurants.
Here are some of our FAVORITE Disney World restaurants!
We definitely agree, Jonathan! We hope that heaven is like Disney World, but hopefully with some cheaper beverages. If you want to get a taste of the heaven that is Disney World, but are feeling overwhelmed with planning a trip, we are here to help. Check out our ultimate video to planning a Disney World vacation:

I want this on a tee shirt! Disney does bring folks together. I have seen families of reported “enemy” cultures smiling at each other as their queues past by each other over and over in longer lines.
I talk to anyone who will respond when I am at Disney since I travel alone at least once a year. I have made friends from all over the world. We learn from each other that we are all ready cool people and maybe not so bad after all.

This is a lovely thought – and yes, I too firmly believe in heaven that the cherry soda flows for free 🙂
