It’s all about the little things.
Since Disneyland first opened in 1955, the small details have been a big part of the company’s theme parks. When done right, the “Disney magic” encompasses everything in its themed environment, creating an immersive atmosphere even with the most mundane things like pavement, plants, and — in this case — a drinking fountain.
Recently, a new Alice in Wonderland water fountain/refilling station debuted at Disneyland.
Located in Fantasyland near the King and Queen Restrooms, the station has a regal purple color scheme and features a spot to refill a water bottle, as well as two water fountains, including one at a child’s height.
At the top of the fountain is a best of Alice herself, emblazoned with the phrase “Drink Me” from Lewis Carrol’s iconic stories.
Of course, the fountain isn’t the only representation of Alice in Fantasyland. The fountain is located close to the Disneyland-exclusive Alice in Wonderland dark ride. It’s also not too far from the Alice-based Mad Tea Party, arguably the most recognizable ride vehicle at the “Happiest Place on Earth” (or at least up there with Dumbo’s flying elephant vehicles).
Psst. We have one more tip. If you search “bottle-filling stations” on the Disneyland app, you’ll find a map of ALL the places you can refill your water bottle!
The new Alice drinking fountain and water bottle refilling station has added a fun new whimsical touch to Disneyland’s Fantasyland. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disneyland updates.

Love it! Maybe they could put one in Magic Kingdom, if there’s not one already.
