Port Orleans — French Quarter
And, we wouldn’t be doing our duty if we didn’t remind you about this important dining change! Whether you’ve got an upcoming stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort or just have a hankerin’ for those soft, warm, pillowy beignets — don’t forget about this important warning.
Heads up, beignet fans! Scat Cat’s Club — Cafe at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter, is now closed for refurbishment. According to the Disney World website, Scat Cat’s Club will be closed from September 23rd through mid-October, 2024.
BEIGNETS!
But, don’t worry quite yet! While the cafe is closed, you’ll still be able to get beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter. We hope that means you’ll still be able to get the Mickey Beignet Sundae and the boozy beignets, too.

So, if you’ll be staying at Port Orleans Resort or you just plan on heading over there for beignets, don’t forget that you’ll need to head to Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory to grab them! And, if you’re in the mood for other New Orleans-inspired eats, consider booking a reservation at Boatwright’s Dining Hall — an underrated gem if you ask us.
