With literally HUNDREDS of restaurants around Disney World, it’s no surprise that even some of the best ones can fly under the radar!
When our friends and family members start planning their Disney World trips, we often get asked for our opinion on some of the “must-do” restaurants they’ve heard people rave about. From restaurants with an iconic atmosphere like Cinderella’s Royal Table to spots known for their incredible food like Le Cellier, there are definitely some places that are at the top of lots of Disney World bucket lists. But even though we get the love for those “buzzworthy” restaurants, we HAVE to talk about a seriously underrated spot we love!
There are tons of restaurants to choose from in Disney Springs, Disney World’s outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment district. You’ll find everything from unique, high-end dining to destination-worthy desserts.
But, in our humble opinion, there’s always room for more delicious eats! That’s why we were excited to check out eet by Maneet Chauhan when it officially opened at the end of 2023.
Located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, eet is a restaurant by James Beard Award-winning chef and Food Network star Maneet Chauhan and hospitality entrepreneur Vivek Deora. The quick service restaurant specializes in “traditional flavor with modern flair.” And we have to say, the menu is packed with some SERIOUS winners!
As huge fans of a good bread service, we fell in love with the eet Bread Service with Pimento Whipped Paneer. It’s served with buttered naan, garlic naan, pimento whipped paneer cheese, masala vegetable sticks, Indian pickle, coriander honey, and various chutneys. The variety and richness of flavors was impressive, and we’d call it a must-try for fellow bread service fans!
Plus, the Tandoori Chicken Poutine with chaat masala fries, tandoori chicken, white cheddar curds, and rich tomato butter sauce was an appetizer that I literally still daydream about. So savory, cheesy, and rich!
There are also choices for pickier eaters on the menu, like a Build Your Own Bowl option and a Kids Menu with choices like “Lil’ Naan Pizza,” beef sliders, and chicken fingers.
We enjoyed just about everything we tried at eet, including some items that we’d consider seriously destination-worthy (hello again to that poutine). Plus, the menu has plenty of variety with options even for those who aren’t huge fans of Indian food.
So, that raises the question — where is everybody?? On recent visits to eet, we’ve noticed that the restaurant typically isn’t super crowded with plenty of available seating. Plus, it’s not often a spot that we hear people bring up when talking about their favorite places to eat around Disney World.
Now, here’s the good news: If you want to seriously impress your family and friends by introducing them to an incredible Disney World restaurant that they may not have already tried — or even heard of — before, eet is your chance! Be sure to swing by eet on your next trip to Disney Springs and see if you agree with us that it’s a seriously hidden gem!
While we’re on the subject of other under-the-radar Disney World restaurants, one trick that can help you find hidden gems is to check out the restaurants at the hotels. A few of our go-to Disney World restaurants at the hotels are still relatively underrated, like Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Toledo at Coronado Springs’ Gran Destino Tower, and bluezoo at the Dolphin Resort.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that EVERY hotel restaurant will be your own, secret Disney World spot — especially if they offer something unique like character dining at Chef Mickey’s or the great views at ‘Ohana. But if you’re looking for dining options that are way better than the size of their fan club suggests, the hotels and Disney Springs are a great place to start!
We’ll continue to be on the lookout for more hidden gems from around Disney World, and report back to you with all of our favorites! Stay tuned to get the inside scoop to take your vacation to the next level!

We’ve followed Maneet for a long time and were thrilled when she opened Eet! Tried it immediately and loved, as did you, the bread service. We even planned a trip around Maneet’s dining experience and enjoyed that thoroughly! She’s a gem, too! Wish more of DS’s chefs would consider events like that.
Thanks to everyone at DFB for your great reporting! Love you all!

I stopped by eet on my summer trip and loved it! We even got to use our DDP there. Thanks for the recommendation as I would not have known about this flavorful treasure in Disney Springs otherwise. I will be back!
