Paying to skip the lines in Disney World isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it is a great way to save time on your Disney World day.
We don’t recommend Lightning Lane Multi Pass (formerly Genie+) for all the parks if you’re on a multiple-day trip. Still, we definitely think it’s a must-grab if you’re trying to do all the rides you can in Magic Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios without waiting too long. If you’re in the parks today, we have great news — the prices have dropped!
Today, September 29th, you can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for one of the lowest prices we’ve seen since the service debuted in July. Below are the prices you’ll find the service for today:
- Magic Kingdom Multi Pass: $20
- EPCOT Multi Pass: $15
- Hollywood Studios Multi Pass: $20
- Animal Kingdom Multi Pass: $15
If you’re looking to get on some of the most popular attractions in each park by skipping the lines, you’ll want to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass. These prices are also some of the lowest we’ve seen in a very long time (except TRON) — today, those prices look like:
- TRON Lightcycle / Run: $20
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $10
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $14
- Rise of the Resistance: $20
- Avatar Flight of Passage: $13
The last time Multi Pass prices dropped like this was during Labor Day Weekend (we know, unexpected!). If you’re still a little confused about what Lightning Lane Multi Pass is, don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is an optional paid service available through the My Disney Experience app, which allows you to bypass standby lines and enter the Lightning Lane at select attractions in the parks by paying a base price for multiple attractions. The price varies depending on the day and which park you are making your initial selections for. However, if you have park hopping as part of your ticket, you’ll pay the price for the park you start in and then can use it in any park you hop to at no additional cost.
With Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can make up to 3 Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections in a park in advance of your visit OR 7 days in advance if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel. Additionally, as you use your initial selections, you can make additional selections so you can hold up to 3 Lighting Lane Multi Pass selections at a time.

Magic Kingdom’s lightning lane goes to a staggering $29 on October 2nd through the 5th! $116 for a family of 4 is absolute insanity, but they sure know what they’re doing, because we’ll all still pay it. 😆🤦🏻♀️💸

I guess I’m unlike most park goers….I never pay to ride anything. We always seem to get on whatever we want and have a great time. We are just over Disney price gouging. The parks are great without it.

Untrue. App still shows $29 for MK. Unless you were referring to certain dates, which is not mentioned in this article, LL pass prices have not dropped.
