Do you like character meet-and-greets at Disney World?

It’s always tons of fun when you get to meet your favorite characters and have a fun conversation with them! Disney brings them from the big screen to real life, and it’s always so exciting. Most recently, we’ve even gotten to meet some of our biggest heroes from Marvel comics and movies. Most of these Marvel characters are over in Disney California Adventure on the West Coast, but now a popular Guardian is dancing his way around EPCOT!
As of September 29th, you can find Star Lord (a.k.a. Peter Quill) from Guardians of the Galaxy in EPCOT, meeting guests throughout the day near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You can see the times, location on the map, and directions to his meet-and-greet spot in the My Disney Experience app!

We popped over to say hi and chat about EPCOT in the 80’s (the last time he was at the park, according to his Marvel story)! We’re happy he has a chance to take some time off saving the galaxy to see the major updates EPCOT has gone through in the past 30-40 years.

He was prepared for dancing with his walkman and headphones! We enjoyed his charming personality and hearing about all of his adventures.
It’s Star Lord!
It’s fun to see Disney adding more characters, especially a cool Marvel character like Star Lord! Fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise won’t want to miss out on this experience in EPCOT. We don’t know for sure how long he will be meeting, so if you really want to see him, we suggest getting to EPCOT soon!
