Flying to Disney World is about to get even easier for millions.
Thanks to massive tourist destinations like Walt Disney World and the Universal Orlando Resort, Orlando is one of the busiest travel destinations in the world, with millions passing through the area’s airports — mainly Orlando International Airport (MCO) — each year. Now, two of the U.S.’s busiest budget airlines are adding NEW routes into the city.
First up, well-known low-cost airline Frontier is adding a new route between Orlando and Burlington, Vermont’s Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport, the Orlando Business Journal reports. The route was announced in a press conference by the airport’s Aviation Director Nic Longo, who confirmed there would be four flights a week (alternating days with 3 Frontier flights between Orlando and Tampa) with introductory prices beginning at $49. Longo said he was “delighted” to make the announcement.
Not to be outdone, Frontier’s fellow budget airline Breeze Airways has announced its own new flights to Orlando. In early October, the company announced that 2025 will see three new Breeze routes to Orlando: Gulfport-Biloxi, Mississippi (beginning February 6th), Ogdensburg, New York (beginning February 13th), and Wilmington, North Carolina (also launching February 13th).
These new routes join 8 previously announced new Breeze routes to Orlando launching in the coming months, including:
- Lansing, Michigan starting October 2nd
- Bangor, Maine, starting October 3rd
- Lancaster, Pennsylvania, starting October 8th
- Erie, Pennsylvania, starting November 6th
- South Bend, Indiana, starting November 7th
- New York-Newark, New Jersey, starting November 14th
- Salt Lake City-Provo, Utah, starting December 21st
- New Haven, Connecticut, starting Feb 5th
Well-known budget airlines Frontier Airlines and Breeze Airways are both launching new routes into Orlando, making travel more convenient for millions of potential U.S. travelers. Stay tuned to DFB for further air travel updates.

Thanks for the info. I found it extremely helpful — not for me (I live on the West Coast) but for extended family who could easily fly out of South Bend, Indiana. I’m going to happily pass your information along.
