Like Roz, I’m watching…always watching.
But you know what I’m watching? I’m watching the tiny train town in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion. That little village gets into all kinds of tomfoolery when nobody’s looking, and as the town mayor, I’m here to set them straight! Let’s see what shenanigans were going on recently.
During my last two visits to the tiny train town, we were hosting a rather prominent visitor — Mr. Mickey Mouse! I begged the townspeople to behave during that time, and rather shockingly, they listened. But now, it seems that they’re back to their old ways.
I know you guys have been begging for updates on some of our more prominent citizens. Little Suzie is still hanging out on top of the observation tower, and she cannot be coaxed down. In recent weeks, it was discovered that the poor child’s parents have skipped town…but do not fear! One of the police officers assigned to guard duty has graciously stepped up to adopt Little Suzie. It looks like she’ll be going to a loving and safe home!
Dave, battler of the werewolf, has recently been named our town’s most valuable citizen. Congrats on the vote of confidence, Dave! The townspeople are currently organizing a fundraiser to help renovate Dave’s house and to make all of the houses in our village werewolf-proof. Times are changing!
In fact, werewolf-proofing efforts are already beginning on the edges of the village, for those living closest to the forest. We’ve been trying to get in contact with the owner of this small cottage to help them in their safety efforts, but it seems to have been abandoned. Anyone interested in moving in?
And finally, we have reports of a breaking-and-entering at one of the local churches. However, the odd thing about this situation is that the intruders cut a hole in the ROOF. Seriously guys, you couldn’t have gone through a door or window instead? Looks like Sunday morning is going to be a bit damp.
Alas, these commoners couldn’t stay well-behaved for long. We’ll keep you updated with more nonsense and malarkey, so stay tuned to DFB!
*The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.

Oh…You have Got to keep this up. I look forward to many DFB watchers spotting things in Germanys Tiny Town, and inserting them into your next update. You never know what could happen Tiny Town. Could be an invasion from Mothera … or visits from elves. Who’s to say. °○°

We are so grateful for the update! We will be traveling to Tiny Town in two weeks (wearing our “Nuttin’ but Trouble” matching tees, of course!) Should we find any citizens in imminent danger we will report back immediately!
Perhaps we should all chip in for a safety harness for little Susie. I worry about her taking a tumble.
