NEWS: It's About To Get EASIER To Get a Dole Whip in Disneyland!

You all know we LOVE our Disney Dole Whip treats.

The creamy, fruity ice cream dessert hits the spot on all our Disney trips. You can grab several varieties of the treat at multiple locations at the Disney parks. One of the most popular spots to pick up a Dole Whip snack in Disneyland is at The Tropical Hideaway, and now we have a fun announcement to share about this counter service location and a tasty pizza and pasta joint that will make your next trip a little easier!

The Tropical Hideaway is a little snack shack that is off the beaten in Adventureland at Disneyland Park. Tucked between The Enchanted Tiki Room and the Jungle Cruise, you’ll find a variety of snacks here, including a variety of Dole Whip floats and swirls, potstickers, lumpia, bao buns, and more.

Currently, this quick-service restaurant only uses a standby line to purchase its offerings. The line can get pretty long, especially for the Dole While items. Luckily, Disney will soon be fixing the problem for a limited selection of items!

Disney announced that starting on October 16th, Disney will begin offering mobile order at what will be called The Tropical Hideaway Express! You’ll be able to order from a limited menu of Dole Whip options on your phone from the Disneyland app instead of waiting in a long line for your snack.

It currently shows up on the Disneyland app, but no dates or times are listed to select for orders. We should see these become available on October 16th, when the service begins. The menu is also currently listed on the app with a small selection of Dole Whip treats, including a Dole Whip Float, Dole Whip, Dole Whip Swirl, and Dole Whip Swirl Float.

If this menu remains the same on October 16th, it appears that any of the specialty and seasonal offerings, such as the Monstropolis Float for Halloween, will have to be ordered at the counter.

But this isn’t the only spot in Disneyland adding mobile order. Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta at Disney California Adventure will also begin offering mobile order on October 16th! You’ll be able to grab a quick pizza, pasta, or salad while skipping the line here soon.

Those of us who enjoy a yummy Dole Whip treat, and some tasty pizza and pasta are excited to see that it’s becoming EASIER than ever to grab it! Don’t forget that mobile order is available on the Disneyland app for several dining locations around the parks.
