Okay, Disney World is constantly changing, and that’s often a good thing.

For example, we’re totally okay with all the NEW stuff coming to the parks (even if we’re a little sad about losing part of Magic Kingdom for new additions). We’re also excited when new restaurants get closer to opening and new snacks turn up. However, we get nervous when we see our favorite snacks go through changes. Now, we have to face a NEW change with a classic Disney hotel snack — we’re sure it’s okay, though. Right? IT WILL BE OKAY, RIGHT?
If you’re a fan of the Tie-Dye Cheesecake at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, we’ve got some news for you. The cheesecake is STILL available at the newly reopened Everything Pop Food Court, BUT it has changed. So, a little backstory on this snack: its original shape was a triangular piece of cheesecake. Here’s the original:
Then, Everything Pop started serving it as a round piece in a cup.

Well, the triangular shape is BACK.

The good news is that this is still the same Tie-Dye Cheesecake you know and love for $5.99, although this shape makes it a little more fun. You’ve still got that delicious cheesecake on top of a red velvet cake crust. And really, that’s all that matters.
So good!
This classic snack isn’t yet listed on the menu for Everything Pop, and we didn’t see it on Mobile Order either, so you’ll probably have to hunt it down in the food court (or ask for it) if you want to grab one (worth it). It’s a fun resort-exclusive snack that’s both delicious and worthy of posting on your Instagram photo dump.

Am I the only person who thinks the Tie-Dye Cheesecake looks like Play-Doh?
This makes me happy. When I tried it in a cup, I didn’t think it was the same. Maybe it was just my eyes playing tricks on me. But cheesecake should be pie shaped! Might just have to take the Skyliner over there on my upcoming trip in November. It’s nice to leave the Parks once in a while for a mid-day break!
