When it comes to planning a Disney World trip, you’ve got a LOT to think about.
When will you go? Where will you stay? Which parks should you visit? And perhaps the most important question of all — will you shell out the extra dough to skip the standby lines with Disney World’s Lightning Lanes?! The system recently went through quite a bit of changes, so we’ve been keeping an eye on price increases and it looks like another one is coming up soon.
It’s that time of year when we start to see prices increase around the Disney World parks and hotels, and that means price increases on Lightning Lane prices as well. We recently saw the highest price for Disney World Multi Pass at Magic Kingdom pop up for later in October, and now it looks like another park has decided to follow suit.
Heads up if you’re planning a trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 2nd, 2024! According to the Lightning Lane Multi Pass calendar, there will be a new record-high price for Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Hollywood Studios on that date at $32. This is the highest price we’ve seen this park cost since Genie+ became Lightning Lane Multi Pass earlier this year.
We had previously seen Genie+ at Hollywood Studios cost $35 per person per day, but that was before the system officially switched over to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass.
For other parks on that date, you’ll pay $26 for Lightning Lane Multi Pass in EPCOT, $32 for Magic Kingdom, and $22 for Animal Kingdom. Lightning Lane Single Pass Prices will be $13 for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and $21 for TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom, $18 for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT, $25 for Rise of the Resistance in Hollywood Studios, and $17 for Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom.
So far, the highest price we’ve seen Multi Pass cost is $35 in Magic Kingdom, coming up on October 26th — so if you’re planning on visiting that park on that date, keep in mind you’ll be paying a bit more if you choose to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
If you’ve got a Disney World park visit planned on that date, you’ll want to budget extra if you plan on using Lightning Lane Multi-Pass or Lightning Lane Single Pass. From what we’ve seen in the past, this likely means that Disney expects demand for both services will be high on those days, so keep that in mind during planning and ahead of your trip.

If you’re a frequent guest of Disney, it just isn’t worth the money for these passes. A first-timer or an infrequent guest, I guess I can see it.
